Regarding the new Radio feature: This feature will only be available to users in the US to begin with and there is no timescale of when it will be rolled out to other countries. I'm wondering about automatic app updates. Will you still be notified which app was updated and, more importantly, what the update entailed after it auto-updates? Seems like a no-brainer, but I'd like to know for sure before I turn the feature on.
This why the articles citing form over function have a valid point. It look me a trip to Google to figure this out. I also couldn't figure a way of getting from "Scheduled" back to "New List" in the Reminders app. Found out through luck and random swiping eventually.
Hmm, iTunes Search is bugged and GameCenter isn't seeming to open. Also, a stranger issue; I'm quite a music fan, and with the update, it automatically put music synced with iCloud into my music library. I figured out how to disable this, but old purchases I made from iTunes and deleted prior to IOS7 were still in the app. I tried swiping left to delete them, but it didn't allow me to. Any music I had before updating could be deleted, but a select few songs I don't want couldn't be. Anyone know how to resolve this?
Meh, every piece of software has a learning curve. Even the simplest of software has features and tricks that take time to learn, or involves a little bit of research/reading the owners manual (google is now that manual for many things these days). Personally I like the swiping much better than trying to hit that tiny X on the corner of an app, swiping seems much easier so far.
Is there any ways to adjust the transparency of the bottom bar? It's almost completely greyed out for me, and yet if I'm in settings and in brightness wallpaper the two icons for background and lock screen, the background ones bottom bar looks almost completely transparent. This near solid bar just takes away from the scene
It is easier, that doesn't say a thing about whether or not it's intuitive. Which it absolutely isn't. Killing apps before was a little more obvious as it was essentially the same as killing them off your device altogether. Even ignoring that, part of Apple's whole excuse for going flat was user-friendliness, but there's really not much of that on display, which suggests it's really just a fad and they're copying Metro.
Am I the only one who had Ed Sheeran's itunes single of the week pop up in the music app and I can't delete it? WTF, Apple?
I had the same issue, only with previously purchased iTunes music that I deleted.. And I can't redelete it.
GameCenter no longer displays your achievement count, it just shows points. That's a little disappointing. Also when looking at games you and your friends have in common. It no longer shows when they last played that game. There is just a recent list. That's disappointing. Hmm...
Just had to Google how to access Spotlight too. If anyone here doesn't already know, take a guess and see how many it takes. I'll give you a clue: You don't swipe to the right from the first page.
It's not really that useful if all you want to do is open an app, but it's definitely faster finding a specific song or email than going through their respective apps. Here's a fun conundrum... it appears as though iOS has lost a feature. How do you delete custom labels for contact info? There used to be an "Edit" button in the top right, now it's just a 100% useless "Done" button.
I'm liking 7 on my iPod Touch. I had a hell of a time trying to update to iTunes 11.1 but finally got it to work by the end of the day. It was refusing to download and I had to use some kind of work around. I'm hesitant on updating my iPad 4 to iOS7 cause I read it might be unstable or something. Hell, I'm gonna install it on iPad any way. They tell you how to do that when you start up iOS 7 for the first time. I found the directions a little vague but got it on my 2nd try. This happened to me, it was just links to purchased songs and I changed a setting under Settings>Music or something, from "display all" to "only display what's on the device". Not sure what the actual names of those settings were, but it's pretty obvious.
I'm happy. All non jailbroken emulators are working plus the ones from'tnat site'. Can also put a ton of apps inside one folder. Much tidier now Like the way it shows you previews of other apps open
