I really can't live with this, its imo abysmal.

Would 'erase all content and settings' also restore the ios to 5.x or 6.x?

I would hate to lose all my data and games but I'd do it if it would return me to ios 6.

Nope, it'd just leave you with iOS 7 on an otherwise empty device.

Yeah. Turning off keyboard clicks was one of the fist things I did with my iPhone and iPad. So irritating.

I love the recently updated page though. When one of my favourite games gain a load of new levels I want to know about it.

I really like it. Looks good, flat basic icons etc

I'm stunned you installed it. If you didn't like the look of it before I would have left it if I was you

lol just relax and give it a few days. Play around with different wallpapers and so forth.

  6. I like it cause I think it does make it easier to type cause you get the feedback. If I turn it off, I type slower, cause more errors.

But yeah, I can see it being annoying to some people, especially in a very quiet place or by a sleeping spouse, or jealous boyfriend.

Yeah, I have auto update disabled but I could see how if you had that turned on it would help.

  8. Anyone having problems viewing the attached videos on TA after going to ios 7?

They just go to white screen now for many of the videos, before on ios 6, they were fine, so if anyone else is seeing this on an ipad and if there is anyway to fix this.

    Thanks.

  9. Definitely, this takes a whole different strategy for wallpapers than ios 6, now light pastel colors seem to look good on wallpapers I have tried.

Used to try to have very dark backgrounds to use less light so hence better battery life, but now just going to really light pastel backgrounds, cause they seem to look best for ios 7.

I installed it as it stupidly auto downloaded the update and it wouldn't let me delete the update files.

Tbh if I'd known how bad it was, I would have just lived with the lost space.

I'm really suffering with the lack of drop shadows, the kb seems more awkward to use now. The icons look like it was designed for a 6 year old by fisher price.

I'm not one for wallpapers, tbh I've never changed the default wallpaper since
I got my ipad2. Also I dislike all the new silly pointless gimmicks like animations when changing screens but I can live with that. It's that bad 1990's style icon and UI look and terrible kb I hate the most.

I like 'em on. Volume didn't work, as mentioned.

I'm not sure you're remembering the 90s very accurately, to be honest.

I can confirm that changing the "Ringer and Alerts" volume setting in the Sounds tab does change the volume of keyboard clicks on my iPad, and that turning on "Change with Buttons" also affects them.

You're right, it does work. I think the volume curve may have been changed. The difference between two bars of volume and four bars is barely noticeable, whereas before two was nearer to half of four.

Kind of annoying I have to relate it to the volume of my message alerts and ring tone at all, to be honest.

You should have followed my habit of using up space. No space means iOS 7 cannot auto download.

To be fair to iOS 7, I do find it easier to kill apps from its multi tasking tasking bar. Just swipe up and it is gone. No more pecking at the tiny "x" icons to kill apps.

  16. Yeah, I like the swipe to remove apps too better than the x thing. I just wonder though how much memory it takes to save those screenshots though.

But it isn't as instinctive as the x.

Guys I want to ask how does the Game Center works on iOS 7? It's showing I unable to show any games!
It shows I have games on me section but doesn't load any!
    Any help!

I think those screenshots are saved no matter which version of iOS you use. I seem to recall that iOS would save a screen shot of your app whenever you navigated away from it. Then, when you return to that app, iOS puts up the screen shot first, to appear more responsive, while it loads your app back up. That is why sometimes apps appear unresponsive for a second or two when you switch back to them.

So iOS 7.0.x is not using any more memory than prior versions because of the change to the multitasking bar.

I read somewhere that even though the iOS 7 install files uses up a lot of space, it'll allow you to overwrite if you download apps that'll eat into the space it occupies.

If that is true, then the auto download of iOS 7 is no more than an easy convenience service by Apple to nudge you in the direction of installing the newest iOS which, to be fair, is going to be pretty much mandatory going forward if you want to have all the bells and whistles in apps and games in the future.

Guys is there a way I could stop simultaneous download? It's very annoying for me!
One at a time is good!
