You could try any of the cleaner apps. If that download is marked as removable, it'll get deleted along all the other crap an iDevice collects over time since iOS only cleans up when the disk is full (which is what the cleaner apps does, fills the disk with mumojumbo which in turn triggers the iOS clean up function).

  2. Well, it is too late now.

    Wow, ios 7 is ugly...

But wow, seems to have gotten over 2.2 gb back!

So at least that is good.

For some reason, Apple decided to leave the native weather app off of the iPad version of iOS7. It is still on the iPhone version.

I never used the weather app specifically in iOS6 on my iPad, but it was nice to be able to get the quick weather summary in the notification menu. Since there's no longer an integrated weather app, that summary is no longer available, unfortunately.

    Look out your window.
To hell with those guys. First fix overlapping text that I saw once in reminders.

There was never a native weather app for ipad in ios6 or even ios5, for that matter. Same with calculator, stocks, etc.

Although you can ask Siri and weather will come up. :) I do that all the time. Or you can just download one from the app store.

Yep, sorry about that. I just went and looked at my gf's old iPad on iOS5, and there's no weather app there either. I could've sworn there was. I guess I was using my phone to get the quick weather summary all along.

I think it's the folder animation causing trouble. I've got motion turned off but it still happens.

  11. Boy, it takes so long to load up backgrounds...

And to make it worse, it is hard to find any of my old backgrounds that look good with these soft colors of ios 7.

Is there no way to make the backgrounds not zoom in? It is terrible not to be able to have a photo full screen as a background.

Yeah going into wallpapers is annoying. Hopefully apple fixes that. First time I thought the program was going to crash.

Another problem... I had my ipad reboot itself yesterday. Scared me a little.

  13. That happens all the time with me, got used to it.

Turn off motion in settings > general > accessibility.

  15. Is that in reponse to making a picture full screen as a background? Cause wven if I turn off motion, the background still zooms in.

I think he means the scaling issue.

Yeah, well, it doesn't do anything to alleviate the scaling issue on my iPad either...

Nope. Only the parallax movements. Both apps, various "boxes", and folders still got things like fading, zooming and animations going on with an absolute perfect mix/recipe to make people prone to to motion sickness vomit-in-your-face nauseous .

I'm actually still sick today, and that's from using the iPad 1-2 hrs yesterday. Usually nausea and various motion sickness dissapears within 24hrs. Gotta start poppin pills until Apple fixes all this, I mean I am an appoholic and all.

Well, it is bedtime, so I started playing a bunch of games.

Wow, so many problems. So many games lost progress. So many games won't open or crash. Some games won't go to retina now. So far alot of my games that I tried have some kind of problem.

This is really bad. Would highly recommend NOT to upgrade to ios 7 now, wait til 7.1. Wait for alot of devs to fix games so no game progress losses or crashes.

I was talking about how some games are no longer retina a couple pages back. No one else is talking about it. So thanks. I knew I wasn't losing my mind. :D
