Especially when there appear to be only about ten magazines available for subscription...

EDIT: Derp, that was just the N&N section. :p

Yeah..it looks like Newstand is a "folder" for magazine..and we're not supposed to put folders in folders.. I did see a way to get around that..but sounds like it may cause other problems... =/

When you use the workaround to put newsstand inside a folder tapping on it causes the device to freeze and need to be rebooted. Just make sure to put it someplace where you wont accidentally tap it and it'll be fine.

    How is the connection now?
Do people still have issues to download and install iOS 5?

It's exactly the same for the Touch. Be warned, though, that if you have a lot of games, it'll take awhile -- i have about 160 games, and it took a few hours to download iOS 5, back everything up, install the new iOS and restore the back-up. Not fun.

Took me near 5 hours on my 64gb touch which is pretty crazy and afterwards I had to take off and resync my music and do the same with some apps which couldn't see their data even though it was actually there.

On the bright side though I have everything back how it was and IOS5 isn't to bad the lock screen notifications have already came in quite handy.

Quite a big job I might have skipped completely if I knew beforehand but probably worth it afterwards.

Does the IOS 5 drain battery life like the IOS 4 did?

or run slow.. that is what im curious about too.. i know the update i did on my old touched made my ipod never acted the same as it did before the update.. they eventually fixed it to some degree.. but it still was never as fast.. but by the time i updated more and more games were not supporting the older ios. I have all my old games backed up i wonder how many gigs of apps i have waiting for a new ipod.. will have to look i guess.. so I had no choice to go to 4 if i wanted to play some of the latest and greatest games.. .. i would not be the test pig again.. id wait to see how it messes up others older devices.. :D

    This update pissed me off.

Taking away Siri from existing iPhone users and give it to iP4S people only
was the most pathetic decision ever. None of my ipod music works anymore,
no matter re-install, re-load to itunes, make new playlist, etc.

    Again, pathetic.

Steve Jobs you're already sorely missed as this apple is rotting.

Upgraded to iOS 5 today without any problems at all.
1H30 to backup, download and install iOS 5, and resync my 15 apps, 397 videos and 432 photos on my 64 Go iPad 2.
All my datas are here, including my favorites on Safari and YouTube.Even my last searches are here.

I thought I would have issues to upgrade to iOS 5 but actually I haven't had any issues.

I'm happy! Good lucks for those who have issues.

It's not like this is the first time a company has been purchased and had their software integrated. I used to use simplify music all the time until Google bought the company and killed the app.

I've updated two 3GS' and an iPad 2 to iOS5 so far with no problems.

    5 hrs of d/ling (64g) and now using 5.0 v.
No probs and worth the hassle to upgrade from what I'm trying out.

Should I wait (ipod touch 3rd gen) till the problems get sorted out?
I don't want to spend hours on this.

About to load it up into the iPad 2. Can't wait to have to wait for this process to finish again considering it's completely filled up just like my 32 GB 4th gen. iPod. Excited to try out the new features though.

Ugh I think I still have the beta, is it possible that my iPad updated itself out of the beta because of the new OTA feature?

Installing iOS 5 was about 3x faster for the iPad 2. Pretty cool new stuff so far.

Hm...it's good, but not as drastic as iOS4 was.
iOS5 seems to be centered more around the iPhone.
I only have the iPod Touch 3rd Gen (though thinking of buying the 4s) so it's honestly not as impressive to me. It's very quick though, which I enjoy.

Is the battery life relatively the same?
