Every time I unlock my 4th gen it freezes for 3-4 secs. ! Am I the only one whose have this problem !!? It happens to me since I went to IOS5
It's a common issue I believe it effects everyone but mine isn't as bad as four seconds it's probably closer to one. IOS 5 really seems to just be a step down in quality and a rush to try and match android features. I think the only new feature that works well is the notification centre iMessage appears to be very easily intercepted and even spoofed Wifi sync seems to only work for some people and seems to purposely go out of it's way to try and mess up non apple routers Newstand is simply a waste of space iCloud is a waste of bandwidth and an attempt to make you pay to use your own files the amount of free space means it's pointless to even set up. That's not even going into the battery issues 4s users are having or the older apps like music that used to be of a much higher quality. As much as I'm complaining it's working ok for me all in all but I'd definitely recommend anyone thinking of updating to read the forums over at mac rumours and see just how many problems people are having. I don't think it ever should have been released in it's current state.
Interesting, I googled iMessage vulnerabilities and couldn't find anything to that effect. So far it's been faster and more reliable then traditional texting, if it's slightly less secure then pinging the tower that's a trade off I'm willing to make. I don't know why people are constantly badmouthing iCould based on a single feature ether, it does more then just backup. I love the ability to instantly install newly downloaded apps on all my devices as soon as I've bought them as well as sync all my data and use find my iPhone completely gratis. Photo Stream and iCloud backup are both off, none of my 5GB of free data are being used. I totally agree about Newstand though, that icon can die in a fire.
Well to be fair I've only read about that happening with iMessage once but it happened pretty fast and put me off using it. Just so people know what I mean't by that I was reading this thread it definitely gives me the impression that it has some major privacy issues. I can see uses for iCloud if you have more than one device for me it's really not much use though.
