Inspired by this, I decided to mess around a bit and came up with a few other wallpapers based on classic video games: Targ Rally X Rally X (alternate) 005 Dig Dug Donkey Kong Pengo Tron (Light Cycles) The Electric Yo-Yo Qix Nibbler Star Wars (Wave 1) 005 is a little busy, admittedly, but I thought it was a neat idea. Might whip up some others -- other Pac Mans, perhaps, or something.
Do a Zelda one(original) with Link, blocks, Moblins, Ghost, Octoroks, & Pieces of the Triforce. Not to mention old man. The sword, shield, raft, bow & arrows, and so on.

Could be challenging without risking it becoming busy, but I'll investigate the possibility. Thanks. Dig Dug is certainly possible. I could also look at Pengo, Guzzler, Lock 'n' Chase, Mouse Trap and Crush Roller, off the top of my head.

I had a JB version of this idea, using custom icons designed as spaceships/enemies/pickups to complete the image. The novelty was you could move the icons around to change the picture.
Thanks. Donkey Kong might be a stretch due to the angled nature of the platforms, but I could probably modify it to be more symbolic of the game rather than a literal translation. I also changed up the Rally X one a little bit just to add a little more detail and variety:
