Just a reply to a few comments in this post. First, this post could not be any farther from the truth. Apple gives several versions that are nothing like the final build. A company could work 24/7 to get every bug possible and then apple still makes a few changes to the final version. The final beta of 4.2 still had some bugs with game center. Thats why not only do you see small indies with bugs but large companies that would never have one on a wii game. I think the public is just getting to demanding. People start freaking out if something doesn't update every 5min. If things keep going this way my microwave isn't gonna cook Raman without the 5.74 update. Second, lets not forget that any details on a release date beyond sometime in november are just speculation. Granted some rumors are more popular than others. Friday makes sense but, apple has said nothing.
Oh, my mistake, I thought they had plenty of time to fix it. I guess it's not the developers fault then, but hopefully if they still care about their game they can quickly update it after the final release
It never actually had a release date from Apple though, so it's not like you can complain about it being delayed, as they never said it would come out tomorrow
Apple is used to never said anything but spread serious rumors, one more example, and clearly a last minute release delay. Crap but better fix before release and the rumor way is handy to not manage the delay.
Lol. Yeah I totally understand. Apple kind of keeps us in the dark too. I guess given the number of developers it makes sense. Working with game center iPad has been a mess. Like I said the final version still had bugs. But any reputable company can fix those quickly. Its just a lot of the single person developers that don't even care enough to even get incorporated ( or for that matter a business liscense) that are cranking out 5 piles of garbage a week that don't typically even realize they have very major bugs. It's uploaded it made 50 bucks...... Next. As opposed to "well we've spent 3 months and x amount of thousands, we better get this right or we will never see a profit" Apple has said it is going to start rejecting useless apps but........ It's also a tough crowd. A good game can get rated poorly based on the first 30 seconds of gameplay. If it gets trashed it won't sell. If it won't sell it's tough to sink even more thousands into improving it. It's a tough market with a lot of tough decisions to make.
