Yea, my family has 4 iPhone 4's and not one has an issue. If they do announce a recall tomorrow, I doubt I would even send my phone it, but I may lol

I definitely won't be doing it pal. I've got my phone set up exactly how I want it. It took hours to reinstall all my apps from backup when I first got iP4. Do that again? No thanks!

P.S - 4 iP4's in 1 house! You can just do FaceTime around the house if you need a drink or something. Hahahaha.

Ah, changing the UI while ignoring the problem. Lovely. They'd better speak up about it at the conference.

Come now. They already said exactly what this bump update would do. A: change how it displays signal strength such that it isn't artificially skewed toward 5 bars (which it was - see the anandtech review for proof of that), and B: make the smaller bars slightly larger, allegedly so they are easier to see. You can argue about B, but A is a good thing all around. You will now see relative signal strength much better. What was once a 5 bar may now only be 4 bars or even 3, since all those relative strengths were smunched up into 5 bars before.

EDIT: and having a more even scale, also means the number of bars you drop will be less typically. This doesn't indicate that the signal is dropping less, it's just a more accurate representation of the drop. They were quite clear about that as well.
