Ya this is a bust on my 4S. I can now get past the helicopter scene but I'm only able to run like 10-20 meters before it locks up. Bit the sounds keep playing.

If any of you are happy to send in crash reports the address is supportfiles at pikpok.com. These crash reports are stored on your device at the time of the crash. When you sync your device with iTunes, the reports are copied to your computer to the following folder:

o If you are using a Mac:
    <YOUR HOME FOLDER>/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/<DEVICE NAME>
o If you are running Windows XP:
    C:\Documents and Settings\[USERNAME]\Application Data\Apple computer\Logs\CrashReporter\<DEVICE NAME>
o If you are running Windows Vista/7:
    C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Apple
    computer\Logs\CrashReporter\MobileDevice\<DEVICE NAME>

The files will start with the short name of the application and contain a date stamp. All crash reports starting with "DR..." might be helpful for us. Please also include device details and a description of how we might be able to reproduce the crash.

Thanks in advance to anyone who does this :)

This game is great. the only IAp I've made was the double coin bonus. It crashed alot on my ipad 3, but not my iphone 5. I'd like to see the ads go away with any IAP purchase, but other than that this game is pretty perfect.

Fun game! Great atmosphere. Heh, it's downright gruesome when you get eaten. One thing I'd like is a sensitivity slider for tilt - often feels like I need to tilt too much to get a good turn in (but then, maybe that's just because the turn radius is pretty small).

This game really reminds me of another 3D runner that came out maybe 2 years ago? In that, you simply ran through a forest collecting energy spheres. In one mode, a demon also chases you, so that if you slow down too much, it'll catch you. The graphic style was very similar to this - basically black and white/grey, with little bits of color here and there. That was a great game as well. Anyone remember the name?

Can we get an IAP to remove the ads?

I really like this game, I just hate clicking the opt out buttons after every match.

Dead Runner. They already mentioned it as one of the inspirations for Into the Dead. It's a few posts back. :) Great game.

Ah thanks. I looked a few pages back but hadn't seen anything about it. I can definitely see the inspiration. This is a great next step for that game.

What a great game. I actually get scared while playing the game because it's so immersive! Well done!

I do have a few complaints. The ads are a bit annoying, and I would gladly pay to get rid,of them. The game runs pretty smoothly on my iPad 3 but there is noticeable slow down when using the chainsaw. I'd rather not use it at all because I feel like I would rather have the best performance to get a longer run. Maybe an update for a performance tweak?

Overall Imhabe given it 5 stars. I hope there's some extra content planned too. Probably the game of the week for me :)

What an awesome game. I love the zombie genre and imo, this is the best zombie ios game after The Walking Dead. The first person perspective is brilliant and so immersive and this is one of few zombie games on IOS that is actually tense and atmospheric. The cornfield is so awesome, best environment in the game so far

    Ok, my suggestions for updates:

    More perks
    - maybe an armored vest to glance off more zombies
    - one-use melee weapon to ask as a "second wind" if you get taken down
    - maybe some kind of vehicle to let you gain distance faster and run over a few zombies before it crashes
    - running sneakers that let you run and move faster

    New environments
    - maybe a farm area with barns and houses to run through and around
    - a swamp land where you also have to avoid watery areas that slow you down (more environmental hazards like the view-obstructing cornfield)
    - a ruined small town area during a thunderstorm and at night where the only light is fire from destroyed buildings and lightning
    - a cemetery

New types of zombies, maybe ones that run or lunge at you

There's no HP. You can glance/brush off as many zombies as you can. You die when you directly bump into a zombie... Like about 50% of the zombie is seen on your screen when you hit them. Anything less than that is considered glancing off.

As for lunging zombies, the game will be too difficult at around 3000 and up when there are zombies like that. What i'd prefer are one with more varied looks, like fat zombies, child zombies and one-armed zombies.

Are we talking full-coverage recording cans, or will HQ buds do?

the most far i have manage to go is 5607 right now 70 in the leadersboard but that second cornfield is pretty hard unless you have the shotgun

The only bad thing was the mission that you have to beat your own record without shooting right now after i get the 5607 that was a totally wtf moment

the IAP implementation in Slam Dunk King, I understand that it's freemium but the IAP push was too strong, it definitely didn't feel like you could unlock much without ponying up ( which wouldn't matter so much if everything didn't seem expensive for a casual game).

Extinction squad which was a paid game had you earning currency at a rate that seemed more suited for a freemium. Even after quite a bit of playing I had not unlocked the worlds forget he power ups

    -—----------------------------------

But with Into the Dead I think you guys have improved things a great deal. I've been playing it for a bit and so far I'm really like iit (of course having some performance issues on an iPod touch 4g but for the most part its playable).

The visuals are fantastic and the coin collection is pretty generous. Unlocks coming at a decent pace too. Soft and I've unlocked only the chainsaw but it's fun as hell

I was just wondering about something in the game: when you're running towards the woods you see a giant antenna sort of structure, which gets closer these you reach the woods, but once you enter and leave the woods you come across the antenna again in the distance.

Minor thing was just wondering a bit if there was a story or something.

    Great game overall :)

Great game, very atmospheric, and beautifully polished, down to the little touches of the graves! I do find the beat your distance missions a tad cruel, but at least you have the option to skip them I guess. Weirdly it puts me in mind of Zombie Gunship (yes I appreciate they are totally different genres, I guess it's the zombies, greyscale, lack of my imagination...), but I think I'd pee my pants in glee if I ever saw an AC-130 flying overhead in this game :)

We actually had the Zombie Gunship guys, Limbic, in the studio a couple of weeks ago. Really nice chaps.

And we actually talked about having helicopters fly over, but we felt that would spoil the sense of desperation and actually give you some kind of hope :)

As a little update to those who have been having some problems, we submitted the first update to the App Store today. Includes some crash fixes, some bug fixes, and a new game mode.

Thanks for the suggestions. Keep them coming. On Monday we are having a big session to assess the feedback and work out what is going into the second update.
