I paid for the "no ads" IAP but I still get the ads. I wish this sort of crap was policed on the App Store. Decent game otherwise.
The restoring purchases should definitely work. Had a slight issue at one stage where ads would come up but the restore purchases option in the armoury sorted it out and haven't seen any since. It really is a fantastic game and that iap was well worth getting because the ads would cause a lot of loading lag beforehand. I suspect this is one that will never leave the iPhone. Plus it hit ten million downloads which is very impressive.
Yep I tried that. No joy. I still get ads every time I launch the game and before starting a new run.
A while back ago i purchased the coin doubler. Today I wanted to purchase the disable ads and it can't connect to the app store. I restored purchases since it prompted me to sign into my account but the shop just doesn't connect to the app store anymore. Ah well.
New update is out! And this one is GOOD! (tbh I haven't gotten too far in this game yet.. been addicted to Dead Ahead) * Dog companion! - This guy is probably the best perk in the game now. He will randomly kill zombies on your path giving you extra holes to run through. Normally he kinda aligns with the zombie you "aim" towards, however he doesn't always kill that one but usually he does. If you had to pick one perk, I'd pick this one * Massacre Mode Barrels - Replaces the dog perk here, but is VERY useful. Basically shoot the damn thing and everyone around it dies. And this perk is worth the money. You see barrels like x4 as much as you see crates. You just need to look for ammo cuz the crates are everywhere. Great update! It should boost the high scorers even higher.
Great tip man! I actually had no idea. that's clever of them. And great scores. I think with the new update you'll get at least double. My best is at 3400m on classic with only up to mission 10... lol. But those barrels really help in massacre. Played it once with barrels and hit around 120 for the first try
There is a Game Center bug apparently. When enabled, the game won't load properly and only until GC is disabled, can someone play. Noticed it on my iPad 4
I wasn't able to play this when it first came out, as it wouldn't work on my old faithful 4th gen Touch. But it is working beautifully on my iPod Touch 5th gen, and I'm enjoying this a lot. It's a great contrast to the recent Minion Rush, in more ways than one.
Yeah... the disappointment i got from Minion Rush was remedied by Into the Dead's update. It had always been one of my favorite runners and zombie game to play. Into the Dead is still one of the most atmospheric games to grace us on the appstore, and it is pretty hard to beat what this game offers.
Yeah this is a great Puap game. Like the update although I haven't mastered the barrels yet... My HS in Classic is about 9700m. Haven't been able to break 10,000 yet but will sooner or later. Massacre is 540 something kills haven't really spent any time on Hardcore yet...
Use the massacre mode. Equip weapon at start, extra crates, extra ammo and explosive barrels. That did it for me yesterday. I know its using a lot of perks but still its a difficult one. You might not need them all but barrels and extra crates will definitely be needed. Good luck with it.
Wow. Can't say anything more than that because I'm nowhere even near those stats. That is indeed very impressive. And deservedly so. It really is so much more than an endless runner. Its one hell of game with a great atmosphere.

The big trick to getting a high kill number in massacre is to maximise the chaingun. Once you get the hang of it in terms of the time it takes to wind up and the speed it shoots, you can time your bursts to take out nice groups of the hideous undead (or even individual zombies actually) with very little wasted ammo. I can usually get something like 200 kills with one chaingun. If you are lucky enough to pick up 2 chainguns in a round you can pretty easily get above the 400 kills line... once you've got a chaingun, avoid crates until you are around 50 shots left and then line up with an oncoming crate and burn the remaining ammo till you get to it...
