TL;DR - Here are some promo codes, PM for more and please give me suggestions for what to change in the next update.

Hello again Touch Arcade, I'm the developer of The Odyssey: Trail of Tears. In this 'choose your own adventure' style game you play as a professor in the future, communicating backward in time to guide a physics student who is recording video files for you to watch. He presents you with a series of choices and then journeys to sites in Kentucky, Ohio, Illinois, New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, Nevada, and California chasing down clues. The mystery revolves around the theft of a meteorite fragment found in a Native American mound along the Ohio River.

I'm putting the finishing touches on the video files to be included in the big 3.0 update which concludes the adventure and has an epic ending. The game plays a bit more like an interactive movie than a traditional game; in the game's reality that's because you as the professor keep "resetting" communication and going back to the beginning to get the investigator to visit different sites.

Sound interesting? I'm going to give all the current promo codes away before submitting the update, mostly because I'd like feedback from you fine folks. In the update I'm going to eliminate the "blue tunnel" to only show up when communication is being reset back to the beginning. Currently in order to rewind or skip videos you have make a change in the "Settings" for your iDevice (the gears icon) but in the update this will be default. What other changes would you like to see?

Our website has some screen captures from the full game if you'd like to see what's coming. In the meantime, here are 16 promo codes - let me know if they're gone. I've got 20 5 more to give away via PM if they're all gone. Also, post in this thread if you'd like to be an Odyssey Guru... shhh... Details to come ;) Thanks for your time!

People in PMs said all the original codes are taken, but I still have plenty (5) to give away via PM. Let me know if you want one!

First, thank you for the code. I completely love the game. It totally harkens back to the whole Sewer Shark/Night Trap thing. In times when we've got all kinds of graphics and such, games like this are a refreshing type of blast from the past. Keep up the great work. Oh, by the way, I loved your new effort so much, I bought the Prequel.

Ok, yep it's different, lol. I wish you wouldve put more effort into setting the stage. Just like in drama class u needed to set the stage and clothing then work on the storyline delivery. It still needs work but it has potential. A bit more game alot less YouTube video.

I have some ideas on how I could put some video at the beginning of the game that would explain what's going on a little better. There's a part of me that wanted it to be like a YouTube video, sort of a SciFi Lonelygirl15. Thanks for the feedback - I'll give it more thought.
