Hey everyone! Earlier this year we released our game Ellipsis for Apple TV and would love to hear your feedback. To celebrate our Game of the Year award from Intel, we released a free taster counterpart to Ellipsis: You can find it here! Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel Ellipsis originally was made for touch devices but is a lot of fun on Apple TV as well. We wrote a blog post about the process of bringing the game from iOS to tvOS if you’re interested. We’d love your feedback and we’ll be giving away a few promo codes for the full version to those who leave a useful comment here. Feedback about the controls (remote / gamepad) is dearly appreciated!
This looks like this game will work really well with a stylus. That reminds me, I need to get a better stylus.
Reminds me of Satellina, and boy, oh boy, I loved Satellina. And those different mechanics seems so so cool!
It definitely does! Give it a try if you manage to get a better stylus It's still a lot of fun without a stylus though.
Not quite the same mechanic but I get what you're saying! Please give it a try and let us know how it compares to Satellina
played on an Ipad Air. Ellipsis is a fun sci-fy, neon experience. You start with a circle. Put your finger on it and like magic.... other circles with dots in them appear. Move your circle/,object or finger through the other circles in the order that they appear or according to the number of dots in those circles. Once you've finished you take it to an exit point. Sounds easy; right?. .. Well.. in the beginning when you are learning it, it is. It gets harder with each level. Obstacles move around and in your way as you are moving your finger around the screen. Don't hit an obstacle or you may go boom! The game runs smooth. I played with my finger and also tried it with a stylus. I feel that the movement works a bit smoother with a finger, although with a stylus, you can see and plan your moves a bit better because the stylus is so much skinnier then a finger. The game is still enjoyable either way. The only constructive criticism I can give is that I think some players may need more of a tutorial or directions. A couple of my friends think that it is necessary. Although; i picked it up quickly. I guess it just depends on the player. Ellipsis is definately worth getting.
Thanks so much for your feedback Lavender! We'd love to give you a promo code for the full version. Please check your private messages
