It is I, Leclerc! I've been working on some of the section and menu screens of the game; It's still WIP, our designer still has to optimize them, but they won't change too much. Probably ^^. This is the start screen, which you will only see when the app is starting up: When a new level is loading, you'll see this screen with a random fun fact about the human body (the font doesn't really fit with the rest, it needs to be changed): The in-game help screen: The in-game pause screen:
I had quite a lot of people asking me to make a screencast without any of the VHS video effects. And because I like you; I did just that. Enjoy: https://youtu.be/CXjP8VIHFdY
Need some convincing? No worries, that's what I'm here for. Today I am delighted to bring you this new video: Reasons to love Inside Pete n°1: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1551791595/inside-pete/posts/1210774 Did I already tell you I love you? Because I do. Sometimes I need a hug.
Next to working on the Kickstarter campaign, we are still working on the game. We've added a new in-game help screen. Whenever a new enemy is introduced in one of the levels; you will see a tip badge appearing in the top right corner of the screen: When you touch that badge; you'll get information about that enemy: Hope you like it.

Only 12hrs to go on our Kickstarter campaign. Last chance to get one of the goodies at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1551791595/inside-pete. Thank you all! We love you.
Hey guys, Long time no see, which has it's reasons: money. You know, that thing I need to feed my children and prevent the bank for taking my house. I had saved a bunch to work on Inside Pete pretty much full time. But I ran out of budget. Which is why I have been self-studying again to get some more of that money. I'm learning how to be a front-end developer to start freelancing again, and get some more budget to complete Inside Pete. To practice, I've made a new Inside Pete website. It's a 3.0 HTML7 responsive state of the art piece of technology. Go ahead and experience the experience: http://www.insidepete.com What do you think of it?
Oh no! Hopefully you'll be able to start work on your game soon. The website looks nice, it has a 90s feel to it, is that what you were going for?
Hi! I'm so glad you noticed. Most people just seem to think it's ugly, while I was going for deliberate kitschy ugly. But in hindsight, I might not have done it good enough. I'll keep working on it next week.
I love the website. I think it is a good tie in, into the game. Hopefully I'll get to play soon... Waiting.... Waiting.... Waiting.... Waiting.....
Looks good. Really excellent work on capturing that late 80s early 90s feel to the videos and site. Looking forward to playing for sure.
Our new website made Pete feel right at home in the 90's, but is missed some pazzaz, some spunk, some zing. That's why we added some sophisticated JavaScript and intricate CSS magic to make everything blink, shake and shiver. As it should. Enjoy. www.insidepete.com I just wish the <blink> tag still worked.
Hi guys! Long time no post. I just wanted to point out we're still working hard. Right now we are optimizing all the none-ingame sections (options screen, pause screen, etc...). These screens don't play a big role in the game, but we want every part of the game to be equally detailed and polished as the game itself. Also, it's a little fetish of myself ^^. I love user interfaces. Here's a little teaser preview. FYI: each screen will have a custom show, hide and idle animation.
