i always want to try such rpgs but then look at how npc and heroes look and skip such games, why it should always be anime style, it looks like for kids. I wish japanese patented it and prohibited to use it outside of Japan. :)

Anime? Someone makes a well made drawing of people and its automatically anime?

This is not anime, It is its own style. Nuff Said

and even if it was anime, it is a great game!

Keep Searching, you will eventually randomly find one. and sometimes you can buy them off of the wandering shop keeper if your lucky!

for me this looks like anime style or something similar, what i see are kids as knight and templar in plate mail armors and some strange looking females as other classes :D

I agree with you eev, it kinda bugs me when I see that. I prefer older games like Secret of Mana and Seiken Densetsu 3, Earthbound, etc. where the only pictures you see of characters is that of their sprites. Although that could be just because most games that have that I seem to dislike... :p

well if not anime style than at least mage is hentai style for sure. Anyway such stuff in rpg is important, for example in baldur's gate npc and heroes look serious and as real adults so it helps to role play this game.

Well the art direction is different between westerner games and games from Asia.

yeah, i understand that art is different, sure. just a bit angry that this one has such style so i can not look at this game seriously and buy and play it, because of the animations. it is only my opinion and offtop. sorry for calling it anime ;)

Yeah, curious as to some impressions as well. This game looks great, very polished, however after the original game I am very wary on buying this. And yes, I did try to give it a shot, but it just never was really that great ;) The price tag on this also raises my 'caution alarm' after the original.
