Let me put it this way, I've played (in terms of RPG/TBS/SRPG)

    Inotia 1 - terrible
Dungeon Hunter - fun but short
Zenonia - decent rpg but not complex enough
    Hybrid - boring, repetitious
Rogue Planet - easy, repetitious, boring
Robocalypse - oversimplified and retarded story
Soul Summoner - ....terrible and pixilated....

I understand your caution, but this game is an entirely different experience. In fact, I think it would've been smarter for Com2uS to have renamed this because it's so far removed from any RPG in the app store that it should've had a unique name to christen such a magnificient beginning.

Not you - but addressed to the people who claim they are waiting for .99c or even 4.99......THIS GAME SHOULD BE $20+

Also, the quests are very pleasantly designed - if you're even mildly clever you can finish 2-3 at a time, and it's really fun to level and complete them, moving from village to village.

Micromanaging the characters is sooooo cool. But like I said, I'll post a mini-review later tonight and hopefully that will add more information for the undecided.

Well, once some more reviews get in - people will start to see Inotia 2 without hesitation for the trainwreck that was Inotia 1.

Anybody got some gameplay vids aside from the one in the first page? Still hesitating to get this one due to Inotia 1 entirely.

I know people have been saying that its smooth, etc. But, I just want to see it for myself. :p

Hey there, I do have the same issue, 3GS with latest firmware, no jailbreak. German App Store, I'll try to change the device language later, maybe that helps...

Update: Ok, looks like this issue happends with a couple of games. The text is correct, if you set your device to english system language. Don't know about other languages beside english, but in the German settings the English game text are not displayed correctly.

    We will see...
    Flour Bluff
Skill Frequency is how often your party member uses their magic. If it is high, they use their magic quickly, but if it is low, they will use their magic less and it will last longer.

Auto Response lets a party member automatically attack an enemy when being attacked, otherwise they will just stand there and not attack the enemy unless you attack them.

That's what I was waiting to hear. The first Inotia had some serious issues. I liked it at first, but it got stale fast and never went anywhere.

Does anyone have a preference yet between this and Ravensword?

I'm very much into this game right now. The story is great and the fighting is made awesome with the ability to play three characters. Skill system is not too complex, but at least I don't have to worry about screwing up. Sweet game. Recommend it.

    Caution!

Don't buy this game - it really sucks. I started to write a (short) review and will soon explain, why this game isn't worth its price.
    I am disappointed.

Can anyone explain to me what online match up mode is exactly?

This game is the top RPG in the store right now... can't believe I'm saying this but it's even better than Zenonia. It even has an online mode o.o

What -- is the game on fire? If you have a criticism, please just go ahead and post it. You don't have to be so overdramatic about it.

honestly, i give up after having to read the terrible dialogue after 5 minutes. It's almost as if a child wrote all the text and came up with the pathetic storyline.

and I'm not talking about this game, but all KRPG's in general.

damn!! can you imagine, this is the 136th games/application that I bought for my iphone (Since Aug 09), yet I think I've only played/completed at most 10 of them ..

I guess I have to leave appstore for one year .. if not I've ended spending all my time buying instead of playing ..

but wait .. NOVA is coming up, HAWX is coming up ..

I guess I'll wait for these two games first .. then, see you guys in 2011 ..

Wow this was easier than I thought. You just proved yourself to be the pathetic KRPG-hater I was talking about.
What're you doing in this thread? Why did you buy the game then? o_O In case you haven't noticed, THIS IS A KRPG.
Go and play something else like Gangstar which I'm sure has an excellent storyline [/sarcasm], if all you're gonna say is "I hate KRPGs".

What does the K in KRP stand for?

    /flamesuit locked and loaded.

Also, is this a crawler in the vein of Dungeon Hunter?
