thanks! I value personal opinions of players above those of reviewers (whom often don't even really have an interest in the genre), so this helps a lot I'll probably buy this once I'm done with seed, the unlocked dungeons after beating the game sound especially attractive to me (i love to continue to play after beating an rpg).
Does anyone know what the stats mean? The ones you roll for in the beginning, sorry for the noob question.
my main is Mage, after learn the mage skill book, I still got 4 other skill books that I can't use. so I tried to use on my mercs, but it keep complaining "cannot leatn this skill"... do you know why? any requirement? are they useless, can I drop them?
If you really wanna know highlight the following.... Evil Lord Gorgon is the end of the main quest. Go to Locknus sanctum and search around, i forget where but you have to defeat General Bozeida or something like that. After you beat him go in the tunnel north of him and that's where you will encounter the last few boss battles, and Evil Lord Gorgon is one of em.
They affect your abilities; for example INT will affect magical attack power and amount of mana I think. Those stick with you throughout the game and the base number (the ones you roll) is permanent. You can add a few points of bonus by equipping equipment that gives those enhancements. This causes you to repeatedly roll for the max number at the beginning. Allegedly some people spent hours rolling continuously for the "perfect" combination. I find this feature to be really annoying, along with the random "luck" stat.
You do know you get 1 random stat point every 5 levels... and you can raise your stats with superior elixers..
That's why I said the BASE stats. You're stuck with the base stats, because if you rolled a 1 for INT, you'll always always have a lower INT than someone else with a 18 INT, no matter how hard you try.
Not at all. You could get lucky with stat raises every 5 levels, and then use superior elixers to get above them. When I say superior elixirs, i mean a TON then.
...It's assuming both characters go through the same things.... A person with 1 INT uses 10 elixirs, will always have a lower INT than a person with 18 INT using 10 elixirs. What I was trying to illustrate is that you're at an automatic disadvantage by starting with lower stats.
Yes starting with lower stats does have the disadvantages. I was just saying a person could get higher int then another, even if he started lower
thanks for the answers! do you also know what each of them mean? Like i think one is Men, but i have never heard of that ha
Anyone know if crafting gear scales to whatever level you are when you craft it? Or does it stay at a certain level?
I am fighting Commander Beelzeb after defeating both the left hand general and the right hand general. I am level 50. Commander Beelzeb is killing me over and over its the most frustrating thing in the world. I can easily kill left and right hand generals. Why can Beelzeb kill me in 2 seconds? How can I beat him? I have not found all 10 magical sources, in fact I have found none. This is extremely irritating I just want to finish the game and be done with it. Please help.
What do you mean? Each individual item is always going to be at the same level. Say for instance, the armor you get at the beginning of the game, each time you get that specific armor, the level requirement will always be the same; however, defense and magical properties can change.
Try grinding to a higher level. Also, what color is his name? The color shows what level he is in relation to you. Gray<White = Your level<Blue<Green<Yellow<Orange<Red<Purple
How do I get into Aren? I just got the quest from Aren Villager D in Locknus Hill and he told me to go to some underground tunnel to get a map. So where is the tunnel?
I don't think so. Have you ever tried to reload your save before your 5th level up? If not let me tell you that you will always end up getting the same stat boost. That made me wonder if the stat boost isn't random after all. Unless the stat boost has been determined at character creation
