can i ask, which is the best rpg, inotia ot zenonia?

i know lots of people ask this, but i had to ask, as i really want an rpg in the vein of the ol dbreath of fires.

basically which one has the best story as well as the most enjoyable gameplay.

i tried seed 1 and it just didn't interest me, plus i also tried the hybrid lite, and didn;t really like the way the combat worked.

hope you guys can help :)

Inotia 2 by far, I like the story far better, and the graphics and party system are really cool. Inotia 2 has a lot more quests too, I can't stop playing it. :p

inotia is just great, simply genius. I had zenonia, but I deleted it after 15 minutes of playing... Terrible controls, graphics for a symbian-like game and I don't know. It just hit me and I had to delete it...

I LOVE Zenonia, I don't know what you are talking about with the controls.
I've played over 25 hours on Zenonia, there is no comparison to the first Inotia.
The first one was had the worst controls of any rpg i've ever played.

THAT is why I want a lite version of this one, it looks better, but if the control system is the same, I'm gonna pass.

    @ chrisrushing:

I played Inotia 1 lite, Zenonia and Inotia 2. I agree with you that Inotia 1 has a terrible controls, just plain awful. But trust me, Inotia 2 is so so much better than Inotia 1 and even better than Zenonia (I've played around 30hours of Zenonia). The experience is also much better.

Granted, it doesn't have the day/light cycle of Zenonia, but apart from that (which doesn't contribute much to the gameplay in Zenonia anyway), Inotia 2 is more involving. The party system is brilliant and character customisation is great. Battle feels actually fun and not like chore. Against stronger enemies, I even had to think of a strategy like using my priest to keep running away while my 2 warriors attack the boss closely.

Most importantly, it doesn't require as much grinding as Zenonia. During my 30+ hours, it's safe to say 90% of those went to grinding, not really exploring or anything. And it just feels repetitive, every level is the same thing over and over again.

While Inotia 2 is no Final Fantasy, I can safely say it's the best ARPG in AppStore right now.

    Really appreciate the reply, thanks!

Judging by a vid I just saw as well, it has a thumbpad/joystick control system as an option, so that makes its 100 times better to me already. That was by far my biggest concern.

Both inotia and zenonia are good games, but they use real-time combat, not turn-based. So closer to zelda than breath of fire.
Zenonia is pure action rpg, you have to press attack button for every attack.
But in Inotia, once you give the attack command, it will continuously attack without further input. It feels a bit like real-time strategy game.

If you are looking for turn-based RPG, i highly recommend Undercroft. You control a party of 4 and the combat is turn-based.

I was just assigned two quests:
Troll Historian - "Ive learned something interesting from the research results. The troll relic was moved somewhere else by a mysterious power! Youll find it somewhere up on a hill east of Deuronen. Go there now

    and

    Troll Relics - Ancient Weapon Core 0 / 5
"Please try to bring back 5 ancient weapon cores after defeating ancient weapons at the relics. The only problem is they move around so it will be difficult to find one."

So..... Which quest is bugged and why? Should I not do it?

I actually liked the touch controls on this one. Here's a tip, you don't have to keep touching the screen to move, just tap and drag in front of your character they will follow where your finger leads. It's way better than the virtual d-pad by all accounts for me. Just double tap an area to attack an enemy, no need to precisely touch them or walk to them first. It's pretty easy and works quite well.

I just got into the Troll Village, can anyone tell me how far I am through the game?
Also, I am level 40 and I am getting owned by the magical creatures outside the troll village, but did fine in the troll maze leading up to their village.
    What gives?

1 Wolf Leader ---> Wolf hill, north of Luone: it's a pink wolf...look for at North-West of wolf hill

2 Bandit Leader ---> I have the same trouble: i think to have killed him in the quest given by Linea but his name it's not written in the scroll  (my last mob to complete the quest :( )

3 Lord Forest---> It's in Red Woods Forest: It's an orange plant in the middle of the forest
