You can ony tell after you've started. You can try doing the first few quests, and look at the stats of the merc you hire.
Hmm damn completed named scroll. Damn stupid git give me another one. I've not seen any of these throughout the whole game. Anyone done any of these and are they much tougher?
Adding the element "luck" that you can't even see is really unnecessary. Realizing you have much lower chance of scoring critical hits and getting drop after grinding to the middle of the game is really frustrating, and what's worse is that you're stuck with that "bad luck" for the rest of the game. Oh and creating a new character means spending another hour rolling for stats, and praying that it has decent luck... Ugh such a great way to ruin a game.
It seems using a dagger instead of sword made a pretty big difference, I am starting to kill faster. I still think it is hard to tell when blade enchant is hitting. I do see blue damage and hear a "ping" noise, I suppose thats either blade enchant or a critical strike.
Im working on "underground tunnel map" in Aren. So far I was captured and have since escaped back to the surface. I went back inside to look for the map harder. I need to kill Orc Assaults to get the map, so I have been walking in and out of a "door" to respawn the orc assaults quickly. I have been sitting here 40 minutes and still no map (but I have been in the same exact area killing two next to each other) Should I go elsewhere? Is it a special Orc Assault, or just a random drop?
can someone please tell me where to find the dark writing implements quest given to me by the great elder troll thanks
How do you get back to the surface; I've been wandering around in that same area for the last 20 minutes.
what's your team? I breezed through the last few bosses with knight(main),mage, priest. Basically my mage is pure summoner with all points given to any summon related skills so i have 2 tanks for the boss and usually the boss will aim the summon or me and i jus have to make sure my priest's mp is enough to keep healing. Hope that helps.
Epsilon is the caster one, right? The other one is easy to hit and run with a mage. Just make sure you kill him while on the pedestal area. Otherwise your char will end up walking circles around the pedestal. The caster one obliterated my level 30ish solo mage, but I returned with a Knight and a Priest. I didn't bother buying them any items, just used some 25-30 level stuff I found on the mobs. Basically what I did was maxed my priest's healing and set all the other active skills not to be used so all the mana would go to healing. On the knight I left Challenge and the first special strike to be used. Then I just kept pounding him with my mage specialized in direct damage. Also had my good-for-nothing summon beat him. That didn't take too long and my priest did quite well with the healing. I had to quaff 2 healing potions with my mage whenever I got aggro and suffered a few hits. EDIT: Now that I think about it I'm pretty sure my guys were about level 35 when I did Epsilon.
Lol Narziss you lucky bastard :O I just made a new character, a Knight with 18 Str 16 Dex 16 Con and 10 Int 8 Men, I dunno if I should keep that one or keep Rerolling, I just don't have a lot of patience lol <.<
If you're a Knight I'd rather Prefer Priest and Templar, all that the Knight needs is a lot of Defensive support, he can deal Enough Damage and you can Resist a lot. I'm not sure though, once I saw that they were using Mages I started to hesitate... Maybe I should get a mage, but I'm not sure...
Well I'm a Templar, so what does that mean? Also, I'm pretty sure I'm speccing my characters horribly but oh well
