I hated the first one. I mean HATED it. I have no idea if the story line follows. But to be fair to the devs, they didn't rush out a sequel. This game has been in development for a long time, and it shows! I haven't tried the virtual joystick. EDIT: Just realized that the game lets you select and play ipod tracks from with in the app! Oh, I just tried the virtual joystick method. Don't like it at all. But that's fine, because the touch controls work perfectly.

No, Zenonia isn't better. I much prefer Inotia 2 to Zenonia. The co-op is amazing, the artwork is sharp and not blurry like in Zenonia, artwork style is also better (during conversation for example) as it's not cheap generic manga style. It's also fun how you can 'dress up' you characters with different armour and weapons and it will all show in real time, like the colour, the type, the size, etc. And most importantly for me, Zenonia is a grind-app, Inotia 2 requires maybe 5-10% of the grinding time in Zenonia. That's how I feel anyway.
Zenonia was the most fun relative to other RPGs for the iphone because it didn't have competition in the app store, but just to begin with the advantages of Inotia 2, notice this: more than half of your skills (active and passive) were completely useless in Zenonia! Anyone know if any monster drops the seal to get a person in your team. I have one seal but it's for Templar and I don't want that one just wanna know if you can get one from a wolf or rat or use the Templar and then ditch him.
To answer your question, YES Monsters do drop seals. BUT they are rare so it doesnt happen all the time. and it is random in who it is, so it could be anyone. Also, you will want to use or sell the seals as soon as you get them because once you start ranking up, that person will be left behind in stats if you dont use them promptly!
