Uh yeah...it IS a handheld RPG on your PHONE or IPOD lol...what are you thinking trying to compare it to wow anyways? and besides...the opening quests in wow suck too...it's always kill or collect 10 of these things...there's no diff. in that opener so stop hating.. this game is great for a phone-

My point is that collect "X" item quests are lame and just timesink filler that doesn't actually add anything to the game. I just found the game bland and generic, but that's just me. I definitely wish I didn't drop 8 bucks on it but oh well not the end of the world. lol.

I shouldn't have to put in HOURS to find a game entertaining. That's my point.

Crap, I think i f'ed up. I was down there, i was only level 23-24 and the blue boa kept taking out my priest so I finished all of the various quests in the mine and moved onto the next town/section........with the rogue knights and stuff without exploring past the blue boa. Is there a way to get back to the mines from where I am?

If you don't like these type of quests don't buy seed either then. I think it's great, and was really dumb to compare to WOW.

Its just not your cup of tea, fair enough.

Some people like grinding, some people like questing, some PvP, or if you're like, loot-whoring :)

I'd like it better if the combat wasn't so bland. If it were actually fun to run and up kill that wolf I'd be all over it but my initial impression didn't lead me to want to continue playing. It's literally the same very fast auto-attack animation. Just didn't seem fun to me.

But it does look good, I'll give it that, lol

The story is quite bland - unoriginal, yawn-inducing, eyes-rolling, generic, run-of-the-mill kind of story. Any RPG cliche you can think of, they threw it all here basically :)

What saves the game is the varied gameplay through the class skills and party system, the loot and enchants, and the overall sense of progression through leveling and visible change in appearance.

Compared to the other dungeon-crawler type RPGs, like Dungeon Hunter or Underworlds, I feel like Inotia 2 is the better game. They definitely got some of the hack-and-slash RPG stuff right, but they could have done a lot better with the story to make the game even more engaging.

Typically console rpgs give you something of a plot when you start playing. Wake up at home, talk to reletive...then asked to go out on boring starter quest. This just felt forced and bland...don't know how else to describe it. But I don't wanna bring this thread down, just wanted to toss in my 2c and defend my comments a bit.

    I'll bow out. Take care.

Yeah, I know what you mean about the combat. In these types of games, it's essentially just a dice-roll that happens in the background. To increase your odds, you gear up/level your character to add to the mathematics going on behind the scenes that dictates the outcome of the battle. Glorified D&D from yesteryear in a nutshell. World of Warcraft works this same way, albeit with more variables at play.

Straying from this formula puts the genre into the category Action-RPG, and killing a hundred wolves manually is even more tedious that just watching it happen automatically.

Not sure if there is a median here, I mean some people find pleasure in collecting stamps, so ultimately it just comes down to whatever floats your boat.

    Shop Lifter
    In your basement.
    Fun game, steep price.

Okay, I'm sure there are people out there right now wondering, "jeez, 8 bucks?"

Well, I'm here to help you make your decision. If you've played Zenonia and you liked it, get this without a second guess. This game is basically a Zenonia that's better made.

The graphics are really nice, and being in a party is actually really fun. I would recommend this game to any hardcore RPG fans and Zenonia fans. If you are unsure, and want a good RPG for a lower price, then pick up Zenonia, or maybe try Zenonia Lite, and if you like that, then pick up Inotia. I would say that Inotia is a better game than Zenonia overall. I own them both, and Zenonia has a lot more powerleveling and boring stuff in it.

So, I'm stucked in the quest that the Elf Priest gave me, I'm supposed to go to Toria to talk to some Gnome or sumthing like that, but all the Paths are Blocked, I've tried going by the Main Way in the Thieves' Hill (and unfortunately I entered the Thieves' Mansion and got raped) but the Way is blocked by some stupid Rocks, so I tried the Mine Route, it was also blocked by the stupid Rocks, so I went to Stone Tomb or sumthing like that and the Path is also blocked.

I don't know wtf I'm missing, and I really hate Minus Montains and Thieves' Hill, I bought 50 HP Pots and I spent about 35 in 2 travels wtf lol, and my Main Character died and I have his body but I can't rez him because I spent all my money on HP Pots lol.
