Since the Knight is a Tank, the skill is extremely useful once you have 2 mercs as you can force mobs to attack you only, instead of weaker characters such as a priest or mage.
Just made my character. Pretty sure I'm going to f^ck it up in some way..haha. I chose a Templar, rolled for 14 str 17 int I think.
I apologize if this has already been mentioned since I pretty much just woke up and haven't read through the 70 something pages in this thread...yet. Buuuut... I noticed this game has an online element to it. I also noticed this game supposedly has "rare/legendary/elite" items and weapons that drop occasionally or randomly. Is this correct? I'm only using this info from some of the reviews I've read. What if...! There was an online type "market" where you meet online and trade special items or sell/buy them from other players. Maybe it could be like some huge online 'bazzar' where you can check in every now and then and see what someone's selling or willing to trade. Like an RPG craigslist or something, lol. Just an idea. I remember back in the day playing the original EverQuest and there were always HUGE meeting spots where everyone would meet and trade, buy, chit chat that sort of thing. It really made weapons and armor and such items very exclusive to the game. Sometimes there was only like ONE sword or magic item that cost an ungodly amount but it was cool that it was available. Anyways...
You cannot save and reload for better stats on your mercs once you exchange the seal to the innkeeper the game autosaves
Having fun with my Templar, I'm speccing him to be tank with high crits that can flash heal. It's like having WoW in my pocket now
so this game looks good and i am considering buying it BUT does it run smooth on ipod 1g and is there a sort of travel system?
Meh, the combat in this game is far too bland and generic for me. Press attack and character just spams the same swing animation. Health bars are really small. And telling me to go kill 10 wolves isn't really a great opener quest. This is a handheld rpg, not world of warcraft.
There aren't really any Templar passives to increase Crit frequency, but Guardian's Will does increase Crit Damage. For increasing your Crit frequency, I'm under the assumption that DEX and LUK affect Crits. I relate DEX to AGI in WoW, which benefits crits and dodge on physical attacks. LUK, from what I gather on these boards, can also affect crits and "perfect dodges" which dodge both physical and magical attacks. I've got 18+1 on DEX right now and crit pretty often for such a low level, 7. 1 shotting grey wolves with a crit is pretty nice, especially for this darn item drop quest I'm on.
Hey, just a quick question. Sorry if its already been asked. But I was just wondering, can you equip a sword in each hand? Or does it have to be a sword in one hand and a shield in the other? Thanks. Never mind, just found out.
Hey how can I do quest called Hell's Sacrifice? I have to kill Ancient Creature but I dont know where is this fu... monster
diary located at perone, in the inn beside one of the beds. you have to go past the blue boa, its 2 maps after that i think
Lack of auto save is a pretty big fail for me. Just wasted about 1.5 hours of gameplay when interrupted with a phone call. What were they thinking?
