I think it's for raising Killer Instinct to 16/15 after it's capped at 15/15.

Damn - I would have instantly rerolled Thief if I got that from the merchant... It would've probably been worth something nice when the auction house is implemented (if they implement it) or when trading and the mail system begins..

Did you know you could Dismiss the that free recruit you get in the beginning?
But then I think you would have to restart your game afterward in order to progress.

I think Thief is the best for your main. What do you think?

Advice for new players or anyone thinking about rerolling and continuing really far into the game (after the main storyline has ended): pick a class that would benefit most from being your main class.

I started out with Priest main and got her to level 55 because I adore playing support characters. But at level 55 I spawn mercs from warrior seals that have nearly all skills available.... I could easily spawn a Priest mercenary that has all the vital skills I use, and I'm about to finish capping ALL the good skills on my Priest Main in about 6 levels.

Thus, I should have rolled a class that benefited more from having every skill at its disposal, that benefited more from STAT potions, that benefited more from being a really high level with lots of skill points, and that benefits more from skill books, i.e., those books that raise skills that are already capped.

So looking at the classes available and their skills, it seems to me that Thief (and Mage a close second) has the most focused skills that would benefit most from all these main class advantages.

I can always play my henchmen Priest a lot, and then let my Main Thief go on its own - because I don't like playing melee characters. Nevertheless, I think Thief would benefit the most from being the Main character solely on the basis of needed skills available and the ability to beef up skills with skill books for more damage and to up your dex to crazy high levels with dex Stat potions.

Mages with summons are great and very powerful to go through the storyline, but post level 55+, summons have been capped at 15/15 for a while and are going to get worse and worse in proportion to the stronger and stronger mobs unless you are lucky and get a bunch of skill books to up your summon. Perhaps still, mage is second to thief's focused damage - although Contract of Authority skill looks extremely juicy.

Post level 55, I'd honestly have to say that I think, based on my short experience with the game, that the best party would be Thief Main + Knight + Priest.

Your Knight would have to be completely defensive, with all the defensive skills and equipped with a shield. And you will have to cap Challenge in order to maintain aggro.

Priest would have to be focused on healing and buffing, with Wrath of God and God's Blessing capped.

Your Thief main would then be heavily focused on capping nearly everything, since nearly every skill is good on Thief and nearly every skill contributes to the Thief's intention of dealing more and more spiked damage. (Like I said, Mage seems decent but still remains second to Thief.)

But nevermind all of this, in the end, play what you enjoy! Just remember that you might be able to enjoy playing your henchmen more while simultaneously leaving your main slot to a class that would benefit more from being the main class!

isaber said that the Korean version of the game added the Archer class. I'd be eager to know from Com2uS if they have any plans to release this class in the far future. That would be really fun.

UPDATE: The Com2uS Twitter page says, "We will share a bit for now- a new class will be added :) But before all that, minor bug fix will be made"

Wow really? I didnt know it was that good and so cheap and you can keep buying it... something must be broken if you can raise a skill past 15 for mere 100 gold a pop, id just camp there and buy 85 easily and made 100 skill.

Anyway the merchant that has that spawned on the last level of the dungeon beneath Aren. Im pretty sure he was a random spawn.

When you go to Aren, just before you enter, instead of entering, head south a little, there is a house. Enter it, there are quite a few people there, ones who give quests and most importantly for you, Crom :)

I agree that the Theif class is a blast. I made a mage to around lv 40 and was doing good damage, and kiting bosses was fun (unless they were ranged) However, my theif, now I think level 35. Does twice the damage my mage did, along with having a little better defense, and just all around fun skills to maximize. I also agree with Theif, Knight, Priest as best combo. With the right gear, Theif's crits are just awesome, and they give a spell that increases crit damage by like 80% once maxed.

I was wondering when using summon spell, does it have % of turning the bat into a Golem or was that a bug?

Also wondering if you can summon a Hellfire and also use the summon creature spell at the same time?

Meh. Im level 13 and I just backtracked out of the way all the way back to the beginning from perone thinking that I had passed a bunch of treasure chests along the way but didnt have keys at the time. Im sure there was an area that had at least a couple chests in it. Cant find them now.

Also, should I have a full party by level 13? only got two characters at the moment. Not lookin for spoilers just a hint.

Not really, I think it's all luck. I had two people for a while until a monter dropped a seal, right after I hired that merc another one dropped.

skills are capped at 20, and skills books are hard to come by. For your sealed skill, save it for better mercs unless you can't wait!

btw, my mage is full elemental.

I waited until level 20 and didn't put any points in active skills.

Then I started to learn fire aoe, cooldown 1s, drain mana

My combos goes like this, charge with warrior+taunt (optional)

then priest's crit buff->fire aoe, drain mana, cd reduction, fire aoe, fire aoe, fire aoe, drain mana, drain mana, drain mana (should be all dead), quickly save+exit game+resume and all cooldowns are reset, mana should be enough for next round.

great aoe damage and leveling speed. stand next to your 2 allies and you might not even need a tank.

cons are....weak at single target dps when fire aoe skill's cd is down. I plan to learn fireball at lv65

Don't complete this quest if you think you will be playing for long time and believe com2us won't reimburse this for those who already completed it.

Blessed seal is warrior's seal that has chance of giving named merc which has all slots open with superior stats. (classes are random and it has to be used in network mode)

BTW, has anyone tried chaos combine yet? I'm about to try it on my yellow weapon lol wish me luck

no such place. Choose wherever you can kills mobs fastest.

You can also enter/exit places where you can see many enemies right away, and hope rare merchant appears + sells seal you want
