They made it that way since it has multiplayer. If everyone had the same stats it wouldn't be fun anymore. However I think the system is very annoying; you try to spend hours getting the perfect combination of points for each character. It took me half an hour of continuous rolling to get above-average stats.
Suck Bucket!!! I rolled until I got ok stuff, but I was thinking that like most RPGs, I'd be able to add points to strength and all of those stats. So you can't make your guy do any more damage except by getting better weapons? Lame.
I've started a game twice and got a templar both times. So you could start again and probably get a different class.
You can also increase your weapon skill, which improves damage, rate of attack, etc. Frankly, I prefer a skill based upgrading system (similar to GURPS, for those familiar with pen-and-paper RPGs) over an attribute based one -- it just feels a bit more realistic.
Hey I was wondering if anyone could tell me where the leaf frogs are in the elf forest I have to kill 10 and have looked everywhere and can't find them. Thanks
Ugh...I caved and purchased this. Don't know when I'm going to play it though. Still have Dragon Age:Origins, Left 4 Dead 2, and Assassins Creed 2 to wrap up. Oh and I also have like 12 unfinished games on my iPhone!! I'll probably finish Driver before playing this...idk. I'm just a bit overwhelmed at the moment. Edit: I didn't mean to quote you Narziss, oops lol
You lucky, lucky man... How is dragon age? On topic though, this game's pretty good for the iPhone. It's a Zenonia that was actually made for the iPhone that has more varied of quests. I'm enjoying it, even with it's shortcomings.
Dragon Age is epic!! I'm playing it on the PC and I'm like 45 hours in. And I'm only like halfway through the game. You can beat it in like 40 hours but if you do all the sidequest like me, then it could take like 90.
/agree. The most epic RPG I have played in some years On topic though, I think I'm going to avoid 'match-up' mode for a while; fighting anyone with any healing ability gets tedious and takes like, 10 minutes to wear them down, if you don't die first. Story mode, however, is absolutely awesome Oh, and for some reason my templar mercenary sometimes heals the wrong person. Is there any way to specify who they heal?
Got some questions, please help! Hi guys I picked up this game about two days ago and now I am sort of stuck... My main guy is a lvl 40 knight and my mercs are a priest and a mage. Here are some of the difficulties I'm having: 1. I just got to the troll village and I'm not sure how to get back to the regular world. The monsters here are pretty tough so I think it's probably a good idea to go back and do some side-quests first. 2. Where do I find Haken's belongings / sword? 3. I went to the deepest part of the forest maze and there's no exotic root... do I have to do some quest first for the mob to pop up? thanks Other than that I'm finding myself having some difficulties with the match up mode... are the arena opponents around your level or can be significantly higher? I think I fought a group and their names are red. Also, how do I get to the mines on the east? Any tips are welcome, ty.
The enterance is in the zone next to deneren, sign says beware of dragons. however, I cant remember if it is the zone just East or Zone just West. but it is around there
Sup guys, giving this game a shot. Couple questions. What is that green bar beneath the character icons for? What happens when you sleep at the inn, does it just fill up all your hp and mp? Havent had to use it yet.
What level do I have to be to kill the Red Boss Plant thing for the Sage Garnel quest? I am currently level14 and keep getting 2HKO myself and I keep MISSing. Also, we should make a forum or something for only this game because of the great reception and everything.
