I don't think its available yet, there's also what looks like an instance to the right of the online village place that also isn't available yet. Com2Us might try to implement an online pve system in the future.

This game is so good. I'm not that far along yet but I can definitely feel its hooks sinking in. The Koreans know their Diablo formula inside and out.

I thought this would be all over the front page of TA by now, I was hoping for a proper review :( Impressions seem to be good though, although slightly mixed here and there.

Has anyone tried a Mage character? Does the summoned animal change as you level up the skill?

I'm doing the review for TA. Didn't get the game until last night, so I'm trying to put some real hours into it before doing the write-up, so I'll know what I'm talking about :) I'll try to have it done by Monday night.

Is the animation STILL as terrible as it was in the first?

Didn't play the first one, but the animation is pretty good here. Comparable to Zenonia.

The animation is incredibly smooth compared to the first. That was probably the one thing that kept me from finishing the first game :/

I just got the game, and was wondering: before I start, which is the best class to use? Could you guys help me in choosing a class? I mainly like to rush in and kill everybody as quickly as possible.

    Thanks in advance.

I've been wondering, is there a way to reset your skills in this game?

Yeah, actually it is. The reason why everyone's been remarking how good it is compared to the first game is to fool you -- specifically -- into buying it and wasting your money.

The animation is better than the first one. I really don't like the first one, especially the controls. For me, it's:

    Inotia 1 < Zenonia < Inotia 2

So... It's been a day. I have a few questions.

    What class did you pick?
    What class is/are your ally/allies?

I picked Templar and my ally is a thief. What class should my other ally be?

The only choice for me was between cleavage 1, 2 and 3, so I picked the most visible one who happen to be a thief.

    Oh well... ;)

I know this is kind of a stupid question, but is there any way to add stat points (not skills points) after level up? Or are they added automatically?

    Game Impressions

People wanted game impressions, so here is mine:

I bought the game without knowing much about it mainly because of two reasons: It's an RPG, which there aren't enough of on the iPhone imo, and because the graphics seem to actually be made for the iPhone screen, and not a blurry upscale like Zenonia.

The game seems to be a standard JRPG fare like Dragon Quest and such, but with some World of Warcraft style non-linear mini-quest thrown into the mix. There is also a party system that seems to work well, though I haven't explored that aspect much yet. The game appears freeform and real-time, but I do think in the background it's really grid based and turn based.

I control the game using the virtual d-pad option, and it works rather well. Menus do have rather small buttons, but I actually haven't missed a tap yet. There's an action button that you perform pretty much everything with. Combat seems mostly automatic except for skills, as is usual these days.

There are a number of annoyances with the game though:

    • The splash/loading screen can take a really long time (first time for me was almost a whole minute) and there is no progress indicator or even a text saying that the game is loading.
    • Scrolling is not smooth, but not terrible either. It's borderline, but that is almost worse: It's headache inducing!
    • Fades (between areas and cut scenes) are not smooth either, but that's just a graphical polish issue.
    • Some times there are items which seem out of place which you want to investigate but you can't. Like a book in a garden shed and a gravestone in front of a cave entrance.
    • When buying things, the game does not seem to recognize your mercenaries class or levels for the wearability indicator.
    • The pathfinding of your party members (and summons especially) is rather poor.
    • A reproducible bug is that if you put your iPhone to sleep for a few minutes while the game is running, the game will freeze and you have to quit and restart it (and possibly loose some progress).

All in all, the game is good, but slightly uneven and rough around the edges. It lacks the polish of a title from, for example, SquareEnix on the Nintendo DS. And I don't mean animation and graphics, which is good. But rather the overall user interface experience and quality of the game world.

Oh, and if you get the game, please, please skip the intro. It is so badly made that you will actually think worse of the game after watching it! It is truly horrible and a complete waste of space. Why didn't they just do the intro as a slideshow using the art from character portraits instead? I mean, the movie is just a fancy slideshow really anyway. I do not understand.
