@Xexxonx you don't NEED a priest. I've gotten to level 60 with my assassin (main) bk (special merc) and ranger (rare merc). I use pots and life pots to stay alive and when the party members die which happens sometimes I go into stealth with assassin and hide in a corner and res scroll the party back then re-attack the boss. You won't see anything better then blue and yellow items until way higher levels.. If your bk is dying to fast armor scroll everything, you probably need a higher defense. Also rare and special mercs are just chance. I have a priest who's special skill gives a higher chance at a rare merc from the emblems so I equip her every time I open an emblem. I've gotten a rare archer, rare Mage, special bk (one that has a name, not called black night) so far...
I'm stuck at 4th layer ice golem and I cannot remove the quest. Any one can help??im looking for some special item but I can't do so due to the quest I can't farm the dragon. Help please!!
Have ~30 Improved RES scrolls and duke it out or you can solo him using an assassin. With the assassin 1. Activate whist 2. Wait 11 secs 3. Spam a spell e.g. assassin's sword 4. Activate whist immediately Repeat this for about 10 mins and he'll go down without you recieving any damage whatsoever (your other 2 characters will be KO'd though)
I don't remember what level I was when I beat him, but I used a BK (main) Priest (merc) and either a ranger or Warlock as second merc. I would definitely grind till u are either same level or 1 above. Good luck tho.
@sgcc1 what's a good party revolving around an assassin? I use BK/ranger now but I have to use a ton of pots...
I haven't played using the assassin as much as some others on this thread as I only use him to farm the Golem. My party normally consists of warlock (main), ranger and priest. My Priest is pretty beefy and will give some BKs a run for their money. The DPS my ranger and warlock dish out will not lose to an assassin and with my equips I prefer these 2 over an assassin.
Ok... I tried priest Tanking on my 103 priest but I could never hold Agro as ranger and warlock dealt way to much damage..
My warlock has aggro due to his insane DMG but with Blood Curse and the Desolator staff all bosses are extremely easy to kill since they try to attack my warlock but are frozen on the spot. This allows my warlock and my other 2 mercs to dish out the hurt. Since the Golem boss used a range attack, this trick didn't work so I solo him with an assassin
So, I ended up switching out my second assassin for a Black Knight in hopes that she'd help defensively. Not a 'tank', exactly, but someone who can hold their own while my Ranger snipes from afar and I spam Whist. It's worked fairly well so far. We're now level 89 and just starting in the city with the Mist. Thankfully, I have 10 lamps, 10.5 gold, and around 50 potions (with 30 resurrection scrolls) in stock. So I should be alright if I get stuck like some people earlier have said. Oh, by the way. My Ranger mercenary is a god, and I don't even think it was one of those special ones, because he's still just called "Ranger". He has around 8-10 good skills unlocked, and is equipped with some pretty good stuff. I just got an 'Elven Bow' which adds a lot of DEX and VIT, so in other words I am now unstoppable. Not really, but I'm feeling a lot safer this way.
Actually how you guys to farm the boss?do you guys re-do the quest or any tips?i can't farm anything in 2ndlayer middle Dungeon boss been trying for 5 times. Any help?
Save right before u enter the room with the Boss. Then go in and kill it, if u don't get anything you want, exit to main menu and load the save before the boss.
Sigh. I'm right about to face the final boss (main story), and I'm really debating if I should switch out my Black Knight for a Priest. My BK can't take more than two hits, so she's pretty useless. I'm wasting too many potions and scrolls on her. And by what people have said here, Priests seem to be really good, defensively. We're all at Level 101, at the moment, so my question is, is it even worth it to try a Priest? I don't really know what kind of things to equip her with. My Ranger is still such a badass, though.
Sgcc1. What is ur assassin whist lv?my whist only lv2 can only invi for 2 sec. Can't even handle 1 hit of the golem. Omg. Help me!!!
Mines maxed. Just buy ~30 Improved RES scrolls if you want to clear this dungeon. You should have the money by now
I try a lot of skills on every mercenary and the result is the same...they all have no difference from lv4...so the skill book is for main character only?
