INKoming! is a new tower defense game.

This time you're defending your homework!

    Price: $4.99

I don't think I'll try this game right now because graphics look a bit hard to read... I'll wait a review.

oooo yea a lite version would would be nice. Right now I have a lot of TDs on my ipod touch and don't want to put a plunge on a new one till I see either great reviews or get to try it myself.

That $4.99 price tag kills me, although it looks very well made. Sadly in this world where for that same price you can get Fieldrunners or 7 Cities, new TD games have a hard start.

That being said I'm interested to see the reviews for this one, and if it will ever drop in price. It looks like a great TD game, and very fun to play.

And what's this continuous action hooblah? It intrigues me...

Ya, Does anyone know what this "unique tower boost system" is that twists the game play. My interest is piqued, but that really means nothing to me.

You rather them eat it, and have to do it again? Or show up at class empty-handed?

Has anyone officially tried this out? Would be nice if the developer popped in and gave us some further information.

That first screenshot, the white background hurts my eyes (is it just me?).

Also agreed that now that I have 7 Cities, this doesn't even look like it should be in the same class/category other than it's a TD game.

I would. If I spent hours on any work, I'd hate to have it destroyed.

I think this is about at The Creeps lvl, not worth the $4.99 price tag.
$1.99 is about right. And another unfinished release, why always no sound TD game...
From Fieldrunner, The Creeps, and this... Only 7 Cities is incredible at the price.

    hi!

I'm a dev of 'Inkoming!' and we're happy to see that much interest on our game.

to answer the question about the boost system:

in a regular TD game you usually do the following things:

build a tower... wait for money... build a new tower or upgrade an existing one... wait for money... build/upgrade... wait... and so on..

with the boost system you cannot upgrade the towers, but you can boost them up, tune them down, or switch them off. higher boost levels make the towers more powerful (more damage, longer special effect duration, etc.) but they'll consume much more resources. so against stronger enemies you have to boost the towers, but after they die, you have to switch them off, however if you use too high boost level, you'll be out of energy faster.
so the key is to choose the best boost level for every tower, and switch them off when you don't use it, and trust me, the choice in not always obvious, and you must make quick decisions, or you'll easily find yourself out of resources.

I highly recommend you to try our game, and find out yourself how awsome this 'boost system' is :)

    INKoming! - New Tower Defense

Just wanted to see if anyone took the plunge yet...

I know there is a ton of these games out there, but i love TD games, and after reading the description, i was just wondering what was so different about this one.

I'd love to hear that someone has bought it & fell in love with it, because i'd like to get it, but this time, instead of trying it myself, i'll let someone else review it, before i get burned again.

Also, if someone has come across a video, that might help speed the decision process along...Thanks!
