Challenge just went live for me. Zoe's stats are 800/1,200, so basically the same as batgirl and lobo. I was hoping he'd be stronger, but oh well. Hopefully his passive makes up for it, but I won't know what that is until I unlock him.

Also, challenge credits confirmed for reset. 0 on my end.

 

Yup, now we need ZOD challenge credits. It all appears to work the same as last time mechanically.

 

Oh no we need Doomsday!

 

I forgot how hilariously easy the first set of battles is. Even with bronzes on your team it's like nuking fish in a barrel. Second one took me 13 seconds.

 

Yep, wish Bronze didn't equal super easy.

Anyone know if we can use regime doomsday or if we have to buy the 200k doomsday.

 

Any form of doomsday should work; that was how the character-specific challenges worked last time, too.

 

Seems things r a little more strict cuz the little metal payment things r more difficult to get. Kinda scared to spend 50k on cheap doomsday and find out it dont work. Oh well thx fer the info.

 

You're welcome! And yeah, I just tested it out and silver doomsday works fine.

And yeah, they nerfed the challenge credits payout pretty steeply. On one hand, it means I won't blitz through this challenge in two days... on the other hand, it's slightly annoying.

I noticed the starter pack is back in the store for me (I had already purchased it), but instead of $5 it now only costs 50,000 coins.

 

Just completed challenges and unlocked General Zod. Ok back to this weeks new releases.

Anyway, the only thing I like about Zod is his basic attacks. Him and Batman are my fave

 

For anyone wondering what Zod's passive is:

Phantom Zone Survivor: For every teammate that is KNOCKED-OUT, General Zod receives +20% bonus to all damage and +20% bonus to health.

Cool I guess, but not very practical IMO since it relies on your teammates being KO'ed. But that just means that Zod is best used as your 3rd team member. I guess it would be fun to let your teammates die and have Zod come in with +40% health and damage (+65% damage if you use Batman, which you should be doing in the first place).

Also it seems the glitch where the Lv3 Super shows the min damage of the Lv2 Super still applies to Zod like Lobo and Batgirl. I haven't maxed him out yet but I would assume that his Lv3 Super will do less than Batgirl's/Lobo's since every character's Lv3 Super that has a base attack of 850 does 49,159 damage and Zod has a base attack of 800.

Overall Zod seems ok. I'm planning on doing using the team of Batman, GLr, and Zod to see how fun he is to use.

Hacking to that extent is just not cool irrelevant of ones feelings towards freemium.

Actually they are identical to Supes which makes sense. Also he has a better passive ability.

 

Well haven't been able to start since now, but the 2:45 time limit on the final battle on challenge 1 was one of the hardest battles ever I wasn't able to finish it with over 2:30 left
