Much more than I would like to admit! That said I did start playing when it came out and just started playing again with the update after a month + break. After completing the game, it's mostly grinding while watching TV or a movie. Very little attention is actually played to the game.
Really trying to reach Elite V level 40 is the only thing keeping me coming back. I am glad to see that the addition of the challenges.
Hm... all right. Anybody else able to confirm? That would be pretty dang cool if it were the case that the total did not include the Free ones! Yeah, I wasn't thinking about it too heavily... I swore to never get into an IAP rut with any game, and fight the system! But sometimes I do ponder giving in to making a tiny purchase of maybe a dollar or two or five... or a hundred Just joking about the hundred.. but I think that's how IAP ruts begin! You say, "Oh, okay, only this once." And then, like Meth, it just takes over your whole world! You lose your teeth! Your hygiene! Your friends! Your family! Your dreams! Your life... you lose your life, thanks to IAP. Not even once. I planned on only playing until I unlocked all the iOS-exclusive characters (that you get on the console version when you unlock them in the iOS one), but now I'm thinking I want to stick it out and try to get ALL the console unlocks! I thought that was the longest post I have ever seen lol You're funny dude! I can't count the hours I have invested in this game, it's addicting. Only got the starter pack and that was to support the Devs even though, I dislike IAPs Oh, speaking of Prison Superman, you can unlock it through the console. I don't know the prerequisite to do that (I don't have a console ). If you're lucky enough, you could snag him through the Gold pack.
All you have to do to unlock Prison Superman for iOS is to play the console story mode all the way though once. Make sure that you log into the same WBID that you set up in the iOS game through the console, that way your account gets credited once you complete the game.
I have so many gold cards its insane i still have yet to get a Red Son Superman or WW i keep getting Regime Black Adams...which sucks... I wish they'd release more levels or a Huntress..
At least you can now sell those extra Black Adam cards. Im in the same boat you are, I have Red Son Solomon Grundy, but no RS Superman or WW.
Is the Red Son Grundy no good? Even with the whole teamate bonus thing? Should I switch him out with someone else? I have all the Red Sons.
I have considered the same question ever since someone suggested that an ideal team would contain Red Son WW, Red Son Superman and a 3rd card, say, a regular Batman. Swapping Red Grundy out for someone like Regime WW might perhaps make for a more powerful team than a pure Red Son trio.
The extra health boost that Red Son Grundy gives is nice, but once you get those cards to 40 Elite V, Superman and WW should be able to win every fight in the game between the two of them without the extra health being a necessity, which makes Grundy expendable. I use all three of them together all the time, but that's just me valuing form over function.
Thanks for the tip, what do you think of Batgirl instead of Red Son Grundy? She would give them that extra power bar making them even more powerful I would think?
Yeah, that would definitely give you a good advantage right from the start of a fight. I haven't promoted Batgirl yet, so I don't know how strong she gets in the end, but just as a boost character her ability is one of the best there is. And since a maxed out super move from RS Superman at level 40 elite V can kill any enemy in the game in one shot, starting him out with one bar full basically wins you the match before you even start it. His maxed out tier one and tier two moves can be devastating, too, but they're not unblockable.
I just remembered you are giving up damage and energy regen too if you remove any Red Son character though right? Because all of there specials say for each Red Son character on your team.
Nah, each character gives a separate bonus, so they're all independent of each other. If you remove one of the characters, you'll only lose their bonus. The other two will still give their bonus stat increases to each other. For example, ditching Grundy makes you lose the health boost, but Superman and WW will still have the attack boost from Superman and the power gain boost from WW helping them out, even without Grundy completing the trio.
