I just got batman beyond and prison superman. BB has base stats of 850/900 and PS has stats of 700/800. The red son cards dont seem to be that hard to get in the gold packs (not as common as most but higher than BB, Harley, and PS). Red son superman has stats of 1000/1100. Very impressive.

Edit: Actually the Solomon Grundy red son isn't too hard to find in the gold packs, but the other two are a lot less likely to come up.

I think I'm gonna just save up for a couple days and buy the 400k pack, just to get all three of them at once, and then I'll rely on gold packs to rank them up.

And I must be crazy, but I really don't mind that they switched up battle 36 at all. Makes it more fun since you have to use more than just one strong gold character to win in the later fights, so it makes it feel less monotonous and more challenging.

It's just a shame the bonus battle on the last page is so short, since all you really need to beat it is a strong team of three Elite V golds-- but it only brings in about 20-25k per run. Super-intense and fun fights, though: especially the last 2.

If you were planning on ranking them up (and not bother with the other gold cards) you would be better off buying the 400k pack multiple times.

Makes sense. I just didn't know if you could buy the pack multiple times. Thanks for the heads up!

I have never paid attention to see if the support cards boosts are passive or they actually increase the stat numbers on the cards. I always assumed the numbers remained unaffected by the purchase of these cards.

The last Bonus Battle yields 21k I believe. I am thinking of grinding that instead of Battle 36. I will need 2 all-elite teams to complete it. And probably just do this once a day, for the foreseeable future.

No problem. After figuring it out the chances are even lower than I thought.

    4.9% for Solomon Grundy (RS)
    2.1% for WW (RS)
    1.4% for SM (RS)

First: it still take only one strong character (at least elite I) to win all fights but it's longer - and, to sum up boring if you'd like to grind gold for booster packs with risk of getting gold card that you already have.

Second: I agree. Last bonus battle is disappointing for its shortness, but it is still very challenging. Agree again: especially last 2, when the enemy can use some new special attacks!

Just ran up against an elite V, level 40 Red Son Grundy as one of the random opponents in the final bonus battle.

Holy crap is that guy terrifying. The damage he can do is nuts-- I can't even imagine how dominant Superman and Wonder Woman's Red Son variants will get when maxed.

Was just playing the bonus battle. Did you figure what RS Grundy's Passive ability does?
I think someone posted RS Superman stats as 1000/1100. That would place him at the very top, above even Regime.

I just bought the RS pack an hour or so ago, and I can confirm RS Superman's stats are that high. Also, each of the RS characters' abilities is a stat buff that scales in proportion to the number of total RS characters on the team. Superman's adds 25% strength to basic attacks per each RS character on the team, so if you're using all three at once that should be a 75% boost. WW's is +15% power gain for each fighter per RS character (max 45), and Grundy's is 15 percent more health per RS character.

Basically, it looks like if you max all three of them out and use them all together, you'd have to try hard to lose any fight in the game. Which is probably why buying the RS pack 5 times would cost two million credits, and why getting the RS characters in gold packs is very rare.

EDIT: actually you'd have to buy the pack 6 times to max them out, so that'd be 2.4 million credits.

Math at 1:00 am is tricky.

I wonder what RS supes supermove is...
But now there are 4 superman characters in this game, so other characters need to be levelled out.

His first and third moves are the same as normal supes and supes regime. His second move is the only one that's different, and I don't want to spoil it so I'll just say it's satisfyingly cool and has a couple of different sections to it.

Are you sure they scale in proportion? I think each of their passives apply to themselves and any other red son character in the group.

The text on the back of Superman's card is "Superman and his team gain a 25% damage boost to basic attacks for each Red Son character on his team."

Which, now that you mention it, is ambiguous. It could be taken to mean "each RS character grants another 25", or "each RS character gets a 25 boost."

I thought it stacked at first, but having played with them for a bit I'm not sure if it does. That would pretty much break the game.

Mortal Kombat's Scorpion is coming to Injustice roster via DLC (this makes me incredibly happy)
He was redesigned by DC Entertainment's Jim Lee. It will probably take long time to hit iOS ver.

    Update <------- Get over here!

If it comes to iOS, great. However, given that they have been unable to extract a single penny out of a willing player like me, I suspect content for this might dry up soon. Very poor IAP options.

    You're not "everyone"

As far as IAP goes, if one person out of 10 spent $10, they already earn a buck for each consumer.

And from what i know (based on these forums and other online places) once a person gets addicted to a game, they dont stop at purchasing IAP once.

So if that person even tries to buy another $10 IAP, that's already $2 earned for each download.

That doesnt even consider those who spend to buy the $99.99 IAPs.

And take into account the fact that the game is free to download, which means it gets distributed to a very large percentage of all iOS users.

This is the reason why big companies are now considering (and even abusing) the freemium model. Did you really think Real Racing 3 and Iron Man 3 are a losing product?

    Think again.

The Justice League franchise also is a popular franchise, and it only takes a few consumers to make the game a source of income for the devs.

Big names in Freemium will ALWAYS earn money.

It's funnier than that. All the poster would have needed to do is look at the top grossing charts at any point since this launched and they would have realized it's been sitting in the top 20 grossing the whole time. In terms of ROI, it is probably trouncing the console version.

The IAP is well designed: the starter pack is reasonably priced and enough to get anyone off the ground and feeling like they have a foothold in progressing in the game. I suspect a large percentage of players purchased that putting it way ahead of a $0.99 "premium" title. Then you have the whales who don't hesitate to spend a large chunk of money because, in spite of the self important hot air on this forum, $50 spent on a game is chump change in the world of adult hobbies and entertainment.

I am pleased to know there are these whales out there spending lots of cash, on my behalf. I am all for it. And yeah, I don't check the top charts.
