As I've said before, I'd pay a couple bucks for a permanent coin doubler. I think that'd be a solid middle ground. In other news, is it just me, or are the "tap to fill the bar" attacks impossible to use well on Gold characters? I've gotten silver Green Lantern's turbine smash to halfway full before, but I can't get gold doomsday's liftoff or gold black adam's shock attack to anything higher than 106% damage. Is this a bug, or deliberate? Thanks!
Don't think so. Gameloft games with an online aspect are usually server sided. I looked into trying it with heroes of order and chaos, but it only worked for the offline play. And yeah, the game doesn't seem as fun when you have all golds with elite V >_> don't know if that's a good thing. @above, it's possible to fill completely. You just have to tap really fast. What I do is take my hand off and vibrate my thumb on top of the screen instead of tapping it.
I do find Black Adam's number 1 super particularly difficult to fill, compared to say Superman Regime's Heat vision bar. What I do is tap two fingers alternately and rapidly. The middle finger on the bar portion, and my index finger on the nub at the bottom. That's seems to work better for me.

yeah youre probably right. Darn. Using an account with unlimited gems would literally solve all of my problems with it, besides maybe the fact that I can't play multiplayer. Oh well. I haven't had issues with tapping as much as with the attacks where you need to time your move so that the slider lands in the middle. The slider for batman's level 1 goes really fast now. Is this because I upgraded it all the way?
I have actually found tapping much easier since the update, but the maximum i can get it to is 197%. And i just opened 4th gold booster and got wonder woman... Just give me batman or supes already!
Some characters sliders have been sped up and some slowed down. It's due to the update, as far as I could tell. I think I am able to be more creative with 2 finger tapping and such, because of the bigger iPad screen. It's still a hit or miss. I have a suspicion that the Gold pack isn't perfectly random. Rather it is more likely to throw out the same Golds that you already own. I have bought 5 boosters till now, 3 of them were Superman Regime.
The tap-to-fill-gauge attacks have been a bit easier for me since the update, but playing on a phone does make multi-finger tapping not much of an option. I will say I do like the feel of the game more since the update, though. Interactivity feels snappier, there's a nice flash effect when you upgrade someone, the new results screen is nice, and-- most importantly-- you also get a + indicator for a character now when you can upgrade one of their moves, which elimintes having to check your upgrade cards stash constantly to remind yourself whose move cards you have. Now all the devs need to do is fix the buff cards bug, and we'll be cooking with gas. On the wish list is being able to promote elite 5 silvers into tier-one golds, but I doubt that'll happen.

I've gotten 5 gold packs so far too and I have not yet gotten a repeat. First was Doomsday, then Joker, Black Adam, Batman, Superman and Bane. I dont know if I have been lucky so far, but if so, then Im buying a lotto ticket!
How many different bronze characters are there? I have twelve so far - just wondering if there are some hidden or rare ones in booster packs? I'll keep buying booster packs until all my characters are Elite V, but once I'm down to the last few elites, it would probably be better to just buy the specific character cards (unless there are rare ones). The 12 I have are: 1. Harley Quinn 2. Green Lantern 3. Green Lantern (New 52) 4. Flash 5. Green Arrow (Insurgency) 6. Cat Woman (Regime) 7. Deathstroke (Insurgency) 8. Solomon Grundy (Regime) 9. From a couple pages back: Unlockables are Bronze: Green Lantern (New 52) The Flash (New 52) Silver: Bane (Knightfall) Gold: Harley Quinn (Arkham) Superman (Prison) Batman (Beyond) The Silver and Bronze unlockables are decent-to-good when compared to the others of their tier. The Golds... they suck. Shoot for the high-end golds you can see in the shop (WW, either Superman, Batman, Doomsday). Those are the easiest to beat the game with (once you've got them to Elite 4-5). Credit goes to bstanley52 for that write-up. I just got Arkham Harley in a gold pack, which actually made me kind of mad. The completionist in me was glad to have her, but I also know she'll be next to impossible to get to Elite 5-- and even if I did, she'd still be worthless compared to other golds.
Unlockable? So I need to get the Flash New 52 from playing the console game? Are there any any characters you cannot get from the store, but must get through booster packs? Even though Green Lantern New 52 is an unlockable character, you can also purchase him in the store too.
It is possible get the Unlockables through Booster packs. Alternatively, I believe they can also be unlocked by achieving certain goals on the Console edition.
Maybe I'm not very clear. Are there characters that can only be received through booster packs? In other words, should I keep buying booster packs once I make all my current Bronze characters elite V? I have the 12 that are in the store.
I just got the Flash New 52 through a booster pack. Now I think I have 13 diffrent bronze characters.
Oh god, please tell me you're not actually buying the bronze packs. It'll take you forever to get even near completing the game.
The New 52 Flash, whom I still haven't been able to unlock playing the console game, is a bronze? Seriously? That really sucks, because he has the best costume of all the Flashes.
Purchasing bronze booster packs with ingame currency, yes. The New 52 Flash I got from a Bronze booster pack was bronze - not sure if that is the one you get unlocked or not though.
