I'm a 9-5er AND in school. Game on my iPad tho so it doesn't f-up my iPhone which I mainly use for reminders/schedule. Learned that the hard way though
I wouldn't bother defending yourself to him. We live in 2013 and he whines about games requiring an Internet connection. He must have dial-up.
The controls are gesture based, so no need to worry about those 'horrible nasty' on screen buttons in every fighting game.
I have to admit this game is addictive to me. I find the gameplay a little shallow, i see it as a casual game more than anything and the simplicity makes it a stressless game. On the downside, there are timers here, but one which can be countered by having a roster of characters. I'll see how this pans out later on, but this is one of those eye candy with shallow gameplay that grew on me.
I have to admit I'm on the same boat. It is shallow and repetitive, but the whole XP system and having to level up characters and such make it feel really satisfying. The cooldown system is pretty lame, but as far as 'free to play' schemes go, this is pretty decent. I also like the fact that you can unlock rewards for the console versions of the game, since I was already thinking of grabbing the PS3 version.
Still a pretty fun game. I like how you can replay the first level with different characters to get a glimpse of each character's most powerful attack. Some of them are really cool.
Yup. Surprisingly, Catwoman turned out to be more OP than most characters ive used. I dont have Flash yet, as his multi hitting specials look to deal a ton of damage, but you cant go wrong with either Catwoman (bronze), Nightwing (bronze) or Deathstroke (bronze) as starting characters. Their level 1 specials just deal too much damage. Lex and Grundy are kinda weak... Especially Grundy which was surprising. He's a tank though, with his ability to regain 25% health after defeat. I found a card for Catwoman that increases the duration of her poison skill to 15 seconds (from 10s), which procs her passive ability to deal 25% more damage to enemies taking DoT.
Dreadnok 1st sentence sums up this game experience lol edit: SO wrong was I,This game is fantastic (after to scratch the surface) Its quite hard to put down.
Tutorial character for me was Harley Quinn, then Nightwing was added. Then in my roster was Deathstroke. My 3 first characters. yours?
The starting characters are picked randomly from bronze characters. I started with Grundy, Nightwing, and Harley Quinn on my iPad. On my iPhone I had Green Lantern, Green Arrow and Nightwing. I uninstalled the game from my iPhone to see if it syncs your data to iCloud (it doesn't) and I got: Green Arrow, Grundy and Nightwing.
They should really add iCloud sync to this game. I dont want to buy characters and cards and lose my progress if an update gets stuck and I have to redownload the game (it's happened before).
Yes I emailed them about that. Notice if you go to extras and then help, it mentions iCloud sync but it definitely doesn't work. Also checking my iCloud storage, I see Arkham lockdown but not this game
So what is everyone's favorite superhero trio for fighting? So far it's Green Arrow, Flash and Green Lantern (New 52 version). I like the tactics feature, I hope it is in the console version.
My two main characters are Green Lantern and Catwoman. They are both really great when you,ax out their first skill.
Bane [Regime], Solomon Grundy [Regime], Deathstroke [Insurgency]. Cant wait to play as Bane (gold) and Doomsday (gold)
One things that's slightly off about Injustice is the ability to pair total opposites with each other. It's not realistic that Superman and Doomsday are working together to bash Batman and Bane. I get the fanboy "dream team" appear but there's nothing uniqurely DC Comics or Justice League about this game other than the graphics. The Lex Luthor quote at the beginning about alternative worlds with subtle differences seems random too. Hopefully they can get iCloud operational; with all the grinding and expense involved in unlocking things it would be a shame for there to be no permanance.
