I did not know, the reward has been reduced, or I might not have updated. The way I made money was to repeatedly do the bonus battle on the first page, that's the one after Green Lantern. The update is supposed to have made the Sinestro battle easier. Although I had no trouble dealing with him myself.
Bonus battles are the best way to grind levels and money. The first bonus battle actually is the quickest way to get lots of money because until you've got some good Silvers, the second one will take twice as long and only reward about 1.5x more gold. Eventually you can pummel your way through the second or third pages, but the first one will last you a while.
Curious, how many different characters are there (and how many different versions of each)? Eg. For bronze, how many characters a there? I am assuming there is a normal version of each, a Regime version, Insurgency, and perhaps New 52. So far, I have: 1. Flash 2. Green lantern (normal + new 52) 3. Catwoman (Regime) 4. Green Arrow (Insurgency) 5. Solomon Grundy (Regime) 6. Cyborg 7. Lex Luther 8. Nightwing 9. Sinestro 10. Deathstroke (Insurgency) Is Nightwing similar to Robin (in the comic world)?
You can see the complete list of characters (minus a few hidden golds you can only get rarely in gold booster packs) by going to the "Character Card" section of the in-game shop. That'll show you all of the character variants, bronze cards and silver cards available in the game, and you can browse them without buying any. It also shows almost all the golds, excepting, like I said, the secret ones. Nightwing is basically Robin when Robin tries to take on a more Batman-style role without actually becoming Batman himself. Kind of an intermediate character between Batman and Robin.
Nightwing was the original robin, aka dick Grayson I believe. It's tough to say with this universe exactly how their dynamic works. Apparently there's a scene in the comics where night wing and robin are sparring in the bat cave, so he's clearly still affiliated with batman, but he's essentially an older, more mature robin that retains a bit of independence. Fun fact, apparently robin takes superman's side when he creates the regime. Nightwing sides with batman. Not a spoiler, it's in the prequel comic.
Gold packs are really annoying... I keep getting the low end golds, so i've decided to just keep my current team and upgrade them to the max, and to buy bronze packs to elite V all my other cards Also, they should make an update that allows us to upgrade our bronze cards to silver, and then gold. They could make it so if you have an elite V card, you can promote it again to make it silver, then 5 more times to make it gold. This way, all the characters can become more even and you can pick all the characters you like to compete with golds
Thanks for the tips guys I grinded the bonus level until I had 75k and got the gold pack (I didn't have the patience to get 75k x 3), but I'm glad I did because I got the joker (insurgency) and his skills are pretty boss (l2 = poison, if it hits, it's pretty much gg). Currently grinding the level before the sinestro boss on the second page for 500 moniez per battle. The joker pretty much kills everyone within one combo (except a few silvers), so each battle lasts only about 30 seconds, which is pretty good money, I'd say. Gonna get another gold pack in 40k (collected about 60k). also tip: you can pull off a heavy combo by swiping in one direction rapidly. It does about 2x the damage of a normal combo, so it's pretty awesome.
As per the comics, there will be either a Regime or an Insurgency version, not both for any one character. The game does spoil some of the upcoming story. You can see an insurgent Joker in here for instance. After updating, I found that the special attack meters for Batman and Superman now move at 2X speed, while Deathstroke and Green Arrow's meters move at half speed. Lex's meter moves at the same speed as before.
So there is a normal version of each character (ie. from our universe or the main universe), their alternate from the other universe (Regime or Insurgency - whether they're aligned with Superman's regime or not), but what is the New 52?
New 52 is the overarching name for the recent reboot of the DC Comics universe, referring to the 52 worlds of the newly-rebooted multiverse. I think the "New 52" designation is just the label the game uses when the character's costume is modeled after a redesign the character was given in the comics after the comics relaunch.
Only some characters have the new 52 costumes: Green lantern Flash Not sure about any others... I think they are just extra costumes, like arkham harley, prison superman, knightfall bane etc.
75,00 gold pack Hey guys I have been playing this game for a while now and I noticed that my 75,00 gold pack is gone I only have these packs. Any one know what happened and how to get it back?
Really wish you could sell off characters, even if the returns were low! I currently have 9 gold Wonder Woman Regimes's. I haven't bought any individual cars for her, but I did receive one for completing the game. I also have 8 bronze Lex Luthors. I have 7 of each Flash, but I did buy a few of them. What are your most duplicated characters and how many of them do you have?
