finally on my 6th 75k pack i got my 3rd gold BATMAN!!! Elite 3 Bane, Gold Joker, Gold Batman lol that's it im done.. I think i'll go beat the game now instead of just farming packs
Nice, congrats! I'm kind of paranoid at this point about the endgame, having seen what the battles look like hahaha. I definitely need to have a squad of high elite golds before I'll feel comfortable trying to beat the game. So I'm gonna keep farming gold packs until I get there.
honestly, i think you can beat the game with any of these characters in gold elite 2 and upgraded levelled skills Bane, Wonder Woman, Batman, Supes.. someone has a Joker Elite 3 and said he's a killing machine so really it's just Elite 2 is the cutoff once you have 1 gold character in Elite 2.. that alone can power you thru beating the game provided his skills are upgraded
The first battle on the last page. Gives over 1k per battle, and the last battle gives about 3k. Every enemy is a level 32 Miniboss, which is the bronze version of a given character. If you have some strong golds, silvers and some bronzes to act as placeholders on teams, you can grind 300,000 in about 12 hours of time, including breaks to let your fighters recharge (which I just finished doing). If you're using the energy exploit, that would probably only take roughly six hours of actual playtime.
Holy crap, it took me a level 37 elite 3 gold Joker, level 38 elite 2 gold black Adam and level 37 elite 2 gold Wonder Woman just to beat the bonus ladder on page 5. Some of those battles are preposterous; I can't even imagine what it'll take to beat the last few fights on page 6. The slower power gain in that battle was a huge hurdle, but gold Wonder Woman's ability at least help off set it a bit.
I disagree. The base stats, and therefore specials, of Elite V Gold card are 2x higher than an Elite II Gold card. The difference is significant. IMO "powering through" the late game requires stronger cards than just an Elite II Gold. The bosses in the last two Battles have 100k or more health. That 2x increase in special damage, especially on the Supermove, is really important. Plus your health is 2x higher, which of course helps. Try it and see. I'd be surprised if you can.
How do you guys grind for xp? My team is around level 20 and only the high energy battles give a lot of xp...
I am way behind in terms of progress. I plan to grind the page 2 bonus battle as soon as I can get a 3rd Gold card. I will then make 3 teams, with one Gold in each. That should yield me 10k or so credits, each time I sit down with the game.
is the airplane mode tricks have been fixed? i set it back a year on airplane mode and when got into the game.. all the energies is lost. zero. it came back though, when i set time back to the current date. edited-- nevermind. using the recharge once seems to fix it.
I wanted to post a public service announcement. The console unlocks in this game will NOT be compatible with the wii u version of injustice.
Looks like having nine teams with at least one strong person on each is the magic number for grinding the first battle on the last page. The ladder is such that by the time you've done three battles with each of your teams, the first team you used should be ready to go again, and by the time they're done the second team should just about have three bars, etc. really helps cut down substantially on wait times between fights.
Do you guys still have the 75k gold pack available? Because mine disappeared... Also, I bought a gold pack and the 3 cards disappeared and I still lost the money. Granted it was Black Adam, but still frustrating that all that money just vanishes.
Nah, my highest elite gold is an elite 3 joker, although he is level 39. If you have elite 1 or 2 silvers in the mid-to-high 30's that're solid damage dealers (like green lantern or Nightwing), they should be able to solo a Miniboss on their own. A mid-to-high 30's gold at either elite 1 or 2 should be able to take down a Miniboss in half a minute or so, and even an unpromoted gold should be able to sweep if you match up right. This is all just for the first battle, though. Looks like the difficulty jumps considerably after it, at which point elite golds will probably become more necessary.
Finally finished the game. Was lucky enough to keep gaining Batman cards in the 75k packs. Level 40 Elite V Batman saves the day. I've been so addicted to this game and now it's over... Nothing to do now but buy the console version once I get my Ps3 fixed. Wonder if there will be additional characters and battles in future updates for this iOS version.
Congrats! I'm hoping for either more characters or some kind of random battle skirmish mode (start a random, one-round battle for either 1, 2 or 3 energy) in an update, but honestly I'd be happy with any sort of content.
Yup, just finished the second battle on the last page, and it's pretty apparent there's a massive difficulty spike compared to the first battle. Only promoted golds will be viable from here on out, which is kind of a shame-- I wanted to be able to play with some of the interesting silvers (Deathstroke, Flash), but at this point getting them would just feel like wasted money.
Man, Silver Flash's passive looks awesome. That, and other team benefit passives like Batman +25% can have a compounding effect on damage dealt. As a side note, I have no idea how people are getting to Elite 5. Doesn't that mean you got the same gold card 6 times? That's insane!
I mean, I won't argue that some of the silvers could definitely be useful, but when a silver booster costs 35k, it's a pretty big risk to take. And yeah, elite 5 gold does mean getting the same gold card 6 times. I got my joker to elite 5 just by luck of the draw, and winning a gold black Adam for clearing page 5's bonus helped me get him to elite 4. The trick I've been using has been the 75k gold pack exploit, which you can use to get multiple discounted gold packs instead of just one, provided you have the money to snag them all at once (or the exploit falls apart). I can usually get around 300,000 in a day's worth of playing using nine teams on the first battle of the last page, which is 4 gold packs per day with the discount.
