I am following the comics series, and they are really good. It has a solid story despite the unfortunate "Based on the videogame" tag attached to every issue.
I rated it manually and it didn't work, at least not yet. Hopefully at least the pfpup will appear again with the next update. So, will sharing WB IDs work? My brother and I are boTh getting this for PS3. I'm sure he'd like the extra skins, but I doubt he'd want to grind for days for them. I want to associate my PS3 game with my WB ID to get unlocks in IOS, of course, but I wonder if my brother signed in with my ID and then signed out, would he get the PS3 unlocks and get to keep them?
I think I'm addicted more to getting gold packs than i am to the actual game now i haven't even done 1 mission in page 5 yet i just want to keep farming booster gold packs 5th 75k and i gt another bane ahhh bittersweet but at least now my bane is Elite 3
Damn, opened my 2nd pack and got black adam regime, black adam upgrade, and deathstrokes energy regen support card. :'( Worst pack ever
Finally managed to get Batman! I've been lucky enough to avoid getting a Black Adam, and in my four gold packs I've gotten Bane (who is a total beast), two Regime Wonder Woman (still at a low level, but the Elite I power-up has made her one of my most powerful characters) and now Batman! The power gap between Silver and Gold is really noticeable, so yeah, farming to build up gold teams really is the way to go. By the way, is anyone else having trouble logging into WBID? I either can't connect at all, or when I do all my achievements are unchecked...
This is really starting to piss me off. On the second to last round of the 4th battle on the second page the game keeps crashing mid battle. It's still costing me energy and everything. This is 10 minutes after I finally spring for the starter pack
None of the support cards obtained before i have that character seem to be working fir me, anybody else have this problem? E.g. I had black adam's health support card before i got him, and his stats are exactly the same as a normal black adam ( i haven't levelled him up)
I feel like the support cards for damage and health are applied once you are in battle. I hope. It would make sense if they actually showed the increase on the card like you are expecting but it doesn't seem to work that way. Saying that, I am quite sure the the energy regen card is for the timer (the purple three lightning bolt logo is the same for timer energy and the card) and it DOES NOT work. So maybe they are all bogus and we can't tell. That would be downright stupid.
So the comic comes before the game, which tells of how Superman started the One Earth Government and so on. Interesting.
energy support cards refer to the energy you earn in battle to use super moves, you gain it 10% faster with the support card. They don't affect the timer. and I don't think the cards show in stats, they're only active in battle. Also I don't really get why people aren't using the energy exploit. When your characters are full just quit the app, put on airplane mode, set it back a year, and start playing, setting the clock forward 2 hours each time you need more energy. Its annoying to use when you're just playing a game here and there, but if you're running out of energy you're probably doing so during dedicated play sessions (ie atleast half an hour or so)
I don't get why you put it on airplane mode. I leave mine connected to the Internet, and move the time ahead by a year.
I haven't really tried it off airplane mode to be honest. I don't think it matters as long as all characters are fully charged and the app is not running in the background when you move it back. But I wouldn't move it up a year, because if you do that and then try to move it back it will take a year in real time to recharge your characters, which would suck. but whatever works, as long as you're using the exploit to some extent. To be honest DH4 has been taking up most of my time now so I haven't played this since I got my second gold Black Adam. (2/3 packs! really?)
Not using the energy exploit mostly because I am averse to messing with time on my device. Also, I find the game more enjoyable for it forces me to have multiple teams, if I want to extend play time. With unlimited energy, I would be grinding with my A-team only, which could get tiring. Of course I don't play very long sessions, but I can see how the exploit would be essential if you did.
That's really the only reason I use it. When I'm in for a long play time, roughly 2-6 hours, I don't want to be waiting for the majority of them >_>
Man, the importance of promoting characters for viability in the later fights can't be understated. An unpromoted gold Bane has a bit of trouble soloing on the first battle of the last page if you match him up against the wrong opponent, but my elite 1 Wonder Woman and elite 3 Joker (both Gold) are unkillable forces of nature. Granted, this could be because I was matching up a level 17 or so unpromoted Gold Bane/Superman/Batman against the powered up level 32 mini bosses on the last page, and the fact each of them could hold their own at all is impressive, but promotions make a strong character so much better.
The energy support cards do refill energy faster, my flash and green lantern refill faster than my bane if they fight the same battles, even though they all have the energy suport card. There is no difference to the power refills in battle. Also, the health and attack upgrades do add 10%, and you can try it yourself with a new character to prove it, but it only works on some characters. The pic shows my flash with a working support card, and my bane and black adam taking longer for their energy to refill. Flash has 1 full energy point but bane and black ada still have less even though they have the support cards :/
The WBID has been wonky since the launch of the console game. A lot of the time it fails to login. I did get my IOS unlocks in the console game, but so far none of the items I've unlocked in the console game have shown in IOS.
