I'm a sucker for the characters with quick, easy to string together strong/swipe attacks. Batman is the strongest of these, but Nightwing and Flash are close behind in terms of enjoyment. Flash is fun because you can almost keep an enemy on the ground constantly with his quick strong/swipe attacks. I used him a lot while grinding the first bonus level (plus his 1st and 2nd specials attack multiple enemies helping to finish off a weakened trio).
Hey guys. Do you lose support cards attached to a character if the character dies during a battle? There's been a few times where I've purchased support cards and they go missing.
Finally managed to brute force my way past the Silver Joker Elite 2/Silver Harley/Silver Green Arrow battle on the Doomsday Bonus, only to be greeted by an even more horrifying trio right after it (Gold Harley, Silver Doomsday, Bronze Cyborg). About to try them for the first time. I don't like this ladder very much; the fights are too stressful hahaha. I think I'll go back to grinding page 2's bonus when this is done until I have a few really strong teams to just bulldoze page 3's bonus. EDIT: Well, beat Gold Harley et al. on my first try, mostly thanks to spamming super moves. I think my teams could probably repeat this run of theirs, but these battles are a huge step up in terms of intensity from page 2.
The person that said that the first battle on the last page is the best for grinding was spot on. Just made it to the last page with my trio of golds batman, supe regime and doomsday, all elite I. On the second to last page bonus I got to the very end but couldnt beat 'em. Tat was before I got my batman to elite I but I think I'll keep grinding for a while.
Took me 5 times, but I was just able to beat the last battle on the next to last pages bonus. Also ended up with 23K and a Gold Black Adam. He may be one of the weakest golds, but he was free and I now have 2 Elite golds!
Have 3 golds (Joker Elite 1, Black Adam and Wonder Woman), so I think I'm going to go back to grinding out the page 2 bonus for silver packs to elite up the rest of my crew. More time efficient, and eventually I'll be able to get through the doomsday bonus with relative ease if I'm rocking a gold and 2 silver Elite 5s on each team. Still hoping a coin doubler or permanent timer reducer IAP gets added in an update, though. Either of those would be most welcome.
Maybe this is a silly question to ask, but if you already have 3 golds, why would you spend on silver packs at this point?
Wonder Woman (Gold) - Elite V Here is Wonder Woman (Gold) at Elite V: Her passive ability is great. Just keep blocking and watch her power meter fill up very quickly!
Because I don't use the energy exploit, and I want to be able to run through a whole bonus ladder without waiting a while between battles. Doing that for the 3 energy per fight ladders requires three solid teams, and silvers are only really viable at that point if they're elites. I figure since I have a couple of teams to rotate in already, it's easier to grind up to 35k and maybe promote one of them than it is to grind up to 75k for a gold pack. Once I can blaze through page 3's bonus easily, it'll take a lot less time to grind up for gold packs.
Wow, the third fight on page six jumps up the difficulty to the top. I guess those characters are elite 5 golds? So I suppose I need to grind out a team of elite golds to beat them. That's going to take a while. At least it will be three against one. Grinding the first battle on page six is the way to go. Even at level 33 my golds are still getting 11,000 or so experience and $1,500 cash from each one, which is pretty good considering they're so easy they take only a few seconds to finish. And since the golds can solo them, you just fill the roster with any silvers and bronzes you want. You can have as many grinding teams as you have high-level golds and run through the ladder really quick. So, I wouldn't recommend focusing on a wide roster of silvers, because you have to slowly level and elite them to make them useful. What worked well for me was grinding out a solid team of three golds, then using energy to get that team to page six by beating main battles, then grinding that first battle on page six as described. Much quicker.
Fair enough. Good points! Right now I feel like I could use a more solid gold to replace Black Adam, but elite Joker 1 and Wonder Woman with a maxed Shield Toss have been putting in some work. Guess it's back to 75k then hahaha. Hoping for Doomsday, Superman or Batman, but with my luck I'll probably grab a third Joker.
I believe that's the level with a team that includes a Superman with more than 66,000 health! He was tough! I've managed to complete page 6, fight 4. I'm back to grinding fight 1 on the same page some more.
Been playing this game for a little while now and am really enjoying it. However I seem to hitting a bit of a wall in terms of difficulty. Was just wondering if someone could give me some pointers or strategy to help me out? I've just made it to page 3, just barely beat Sinestro! I'm trying to save up for some more gold's, but it takes a while! What's the best way to make money right now? At the moment I'm using: Gold:Bane Silver: Flash(regime), Harley(Insurgency), Catwoman Bronze: Deathstroke +1(insurgency), Green lantern (new 52), Sinestro, Catwomen +1(regime), Cyborg, Harley, Flash
Get about 4 or 5 good teams and grind the first page bonus fight. My Teams leaders: 1. Black Adam Regime 2. Superman Regime 3. Catwoman 4. Harley Insurgency 5. Flash Regime Every two hours or so I run through the bonus battle on page one with all teams and get about 16k in 2 minutes...probably not the most efficient but it allows me to at least get the 25% off gold booster once a day.
Thanks for the tips! This is working well enough for now. I've got my three silvers and one gold leading four separate teams and it's definitely helping.
I don't think any Golds are 'bad', but from what people have been saying, Black Adam is on the low end of the spectrum compared to some of the other Golds, like Batman and Superman.
Is it possible to transfer the game data between devices using something like iexplorer? I know with some apps it doesn't work.
