So...Is it worth upgrading the energy drain moves? Their base power is already pretty weak so I was wondering if it made much a difference. This is for my silver nightwing btw.
Been lurking in this thread too embarrassed to post after seeing all of your teams. In the same boat as you. Was a bit optimistic about it after seeing the update but no luck. If I do this, would I lose all of my progress?
Now, I see the save game in the Apple iCloud but it doesn't work. To test iCloud, I have installed the game on my iPhone (I play normally on my iPad), but it doesn't take the iCloud save. Yes, the starter pack is now available, so I guess that if I buy it, I will reveice my characters, but I don't want to lose my progression from my iPad Why did they do only a button "Restore purchase" like others developpers ?
I'm assuming the "fix" will only address future attempts to purchase and the nature of how the IAP works in this case likely prevents any sort of normal restoration. When I went to buy the starter pack game locked up after the "thank you" and eventually crashed, got Harley but not the 2 random silvers so I just opened a support ticket and requested a refund. Got it approved in about 30 minutes so Apple must have been well aware of the issue. I wasn't about to reinstall the game and lose everything else I'd done.
Just go to your receipt in your email and click report a problem under the purchase. You could just select the option for accidental purchase and get refunded without having to do anything else.
Hm the Doomsday bonus battle is quite the challenge. It wasn't until after I died I realized I'm facing a Harly Quinn Gold Card >_> I need the patience to save up for another one of those gold packs
Basically, the game runs on the iOS time so if you go into your settings and set it forward a day or so (pretty sure you can't be connected to Internet though), then all your energy bars will be refilled for the most part. Repeat for when your bars get empty again.
I'm on the Belgian Appstore, and I'm not able to select the option that you mention ("accidental purchase"). Anyway, I contacted Apple Support with email, explained them what it happened, and they refunded me the Starter Pack. Apple service is very good
This game is definitely one of the best fighting games on iOS currently. The combat looked very simple and toned-down at first, but regardless its very fun and somehow got a quite addictive thing or motion to it. The super moves are actually very nicely done and those of the console version. And thats not even talking about the gorgeous graphics. NetherRealm Studios did a superb job for this title. The freemium is however questionable and sadly a popular trend where NetherRealm Studios just follows this very successful model. I think they will update this one with more content, some characters of the console version are missing, of which I'm sure we expect some form of expansion. A multiplayer mode would give this game a legendary status on iOS, that would have rocked but I think chances are slim for them doing that.
Guys may I ask how you earn coins for all those gld packs ? Just playing again and again using energy "exploit" ?
I dont do the energy exploit, but i have bought a lot of bronzes and silvers now in which case they allow me to play over and over. Eventually i got enough to buy gold boosters, and that's just what ive been doing a lot. This is the reaon why my characters have low levels, except for a few whom i use energy cards on.
