Dunno if anyone's interested, but the PC version appears to be free to play over the weekend on Steam.
So I got my rewards this morning. I ended up top 3% which is pretty good considering I get an Ares and his gear while I was only able to access for 24 total hours out of the whole week. But I came up agonizingly short of top 2% which would have gotten that sought after second card. The good news for those of you who missed him is that Ares is not unlocked in the store and is only "available in booster packs" (but that doesn't seem to be true for now). So you will have future chances to get him. He's a cool looking character, I look forward to the chance to promote him!
Basic booster packs or challenge packs? Edit: I had 400K saved up so I bought four gold packs, got a Lobo, a Animated Harley, a 52 Nightwing, and a Batman Prime. Sigh. Nothing exciting, should have bought challenge packs.
Ares is in neither for now. My assumption is that he will be made available in future MP challenges and possibly in challenge packs AFTER the next update.
So who is going to be my next character to E7 from gold packs? I have GL Sinestro currently at E6, Regime Superman E6, Batman prime E6, Green Arrow E5, and Doomsday E5. Any predictions? Edit: I opened my daily gold pack and didn't get any of them I got my third Shazam (E2) lol....sorry Briscoe
LOL! Still no Shazam <sad face> but I've been slacking on buying my daily since Destiny came out. I'm still playing the Challenges and watching for sales. Still disappointed that the server issue kept me from earning an Ares... but I'll get over it.
Not sure what your deck looks like now... It really depends on your playing style and preferences. Create a WBID. DON'T share it with anyone. Redbox the console version and complete the story... you will earn/unlock a Prison Superman (low tier Gold card) which will help your early grind. You can beat the console story in an hour or two. Don't invest in Prison Supes too heavily... he's just a means to the end. After that... grind out a few daily gold packs. With any luck you'll get a mid-tier or upper-tier Gold card or two. Pick one and then invest in an anchor card. Be sure to log on every day even if it's just for the daily rewards (coins, energy recharges, Alliance Credits, and eventually a Bronze card).
I'm really hoping that we get another crack at the Ares MP challenge really soon.....today maybe if we're lucky???

Warning: Some players have had their accounts suspended after beating the challenge. I guess the game is not recognizing her as an active card yet.
I'm done the Normal and Expert challenge before I read about that. Warning to anyone if it's not too late - do a hard reboot of your app as quickly as possible to give your best chance to not be suspended. WB said that they have fixed the problem but to reboot to be safe. Edit: I just completed Nightmare - warning - the third last and last battles in the Silver nightmare challenge are BRUTALLY difficult (for me anyway)! I had to skip the third last battle, as it would have been impossible for me, and just barely squeaked out a win in the last battle. Now I have a long wait until Aquaman!
No new posts all week on the Injustice board! Marvel CoC is out for us here in Canada so I may now be splitting my time between these games!
The Marvel one is quite good. There's a slight bit more dynamics in relation to the run back/forward action. They are very very similar but I've come away thinking this one is done a little bit better though.
I just started playing this and although I like it, it feels terribly grindy D: Any tips to make money faster? Also, what is the best investment, individual characters or the random packs? (Can we get the best cards from random packs or just buying them directly?) I already have 2 silver cards, should I go for another one or rather save credits to get a gold pack? I have 41k at the moment, but missions' difficulty seems to increase faster than I can level up my chars and it's a pain replaying older missions to get 300 credits :/
Guys I have been loving the newest Aquaman & Raven but which one do you all think is better? I want to start promoting 1 of them. Raven health switch thing is crazy but I also love Aquamans special 2 for some reason where he summons a guy to fight for him.
