Yup. I would like to know what happens when you elite a character in your MP defense....what I mean is that yesterday I finally pulled RSWW from a gold pack and got her from E6 to E7. I haven't been able to get on MP, but would my defending team feature RSWW E6 or E7?
Unless they're making things overly complicated for themselves, I would assume that it would use your newly updated E7 version. It is highly unlikely that the multiplayer stores a separate version of the characters, and will simply be using a reference to whatever character is in your collection (you can see this in the way that you can give or remove gear in single-player mode, and your MP team will reflect these changes). The only limiting factor I foresee here is with the game syncing it's data. I'm not sure at what points Injustice does this (or whether the server issues that were going on would affect it), but as long as you weren't offline when you did it, I would assume you'd be ok, and your MP RSWW would reflect the new rank.
So I just completed nightmare mode. RSGL took a ton of damage - it took 2 RSSM and 2 RSWW supers to take him down! Really glad to have him in my collection. Anyone have any updates on how we can get online for Ares?
RSGL just posted for me... I have some catching up to do. i haven't tried the MP yet. From what I've read you only have to place on the MP leaderboards to get Ares (it doesn't say top 1%). I'll grind out about six-ten offensive games of MP before the 16th and let my defense do the rest... that's usually good enough to earn season rewards.
Briscoe you need top 5% to get Ares. If you get top 2% you get a 2nd. Win one in my honour as I still cannot access, even after deleting/reinstalling
I have all of the achievements except one. Who's Laughing Now?: Defeat an opponent with Joker's Passive Special Ability. I have gotten them to having only a thread of life left and put in Joker and his death never seems to kill them off. Any advice?
Well, I wanted Ares so badly that I risked it all and deleted my game and reinstalled it. I actually tried it 7 times. I didn't lose any data but still cannot access MP. Thanks a lot NR. I have literally done everything i can including risking losing my data.
Use Insurgency Joker, amd the Bronze & Silver Harleys in a lower level fight... Light (tap) attack each opponent until you have just one opponent left who's ALMOST dead. DON'T play a Random Tag battle and DON'T tag out. Then eat all damage unblocked until he dies. The achievement should pop as soon as he's dead.
I still haven't tried MP since my RSGL Challenge posted... I'm not too hopeful with all the server issues. If I can get in... cool. If not, oh well. Maybe he'll post to the store one day like Blackest Night Batman (watch for comic book character anniversaries and TV show premiers... that seems to be a new trend on sales). Ares is a chump anyhow... I would have rather seen one of WW's LoD villains like Giganta or Cheetah
LOL... Yup... Sub whoever you want. The only one you have to have is Insurgency Joker (his passive has a better punch than the silver one). I was just remembering the team combo I used. If you fight a lower level just be careful to SAVE one enemy for Joker's passive... light (tap) attack the bronze or silver opponents so you don't kill em outright.
OMG! Top 5% (as it stands) is 460k on the Leaderboards... that's about 100 battles not including daily challenges. I'm about 1/4th of the way there. IT'S A RED SON SLUGFEST IN MP!!! LOL!!! There's an odd AOB and AOD here and there, but it seems like everyone is going back to what works the easiest.
Ares For those of you who asked if Ares was gonna be in the store IF you won him as a season reward... I STILL don't know... BUT season rewards will give out MULTIPLE Ares cards: First Place is Ares x3, Bloody Sword 3 star gear x3, and 60k credits Second Place is Ares x2, Bloody Sword x3, and 55k credits Third Place is Ares x2, Bloody Sword x3, and 50k credits Top 1% is Ares x2, Bloody Sword x2, and 40k credits Top 2% is Ares x2, Bloody Sword x2, and 40k credits (yup same as top 1%) Top 3% is Ares and Bloody Sword w/35k credits Top 4% is Ares and Bloody Sword w/35k credits Top 5% is Ares and 30k credits Everything lower is gear and credits
I'm currently in the top 2% but the servers just went down again I lost a fight getting greedy trying to finish without blocking. It was the last fight of an epic battle, hopefully it doesn't cost me:S
Yes we were screwed on this challenge. Had I been given 30 hours out of the whole week instead of the 24 that I did get I would have comfortably ended up in the top 2%. At least I will end up with one Ares card and the gear but just playing another few battles would have got me the second card which I really wanted. And a lot of you got screwed and won't even get an Ares card. Really not fair.
Yup... I didn't even get close. The servers were only up for me for one afternoon... Oh well. Maybe they'll bring it around again sometime <crossing fingers>
