Newbie question So, I'm asking you veterans for a bit of advice. Just picked up this game, and from what I've seen so far, the idea is to grind up 75k coins and get the cheap gold booster, hope for good cards, and try to build a stable of decent golds with which to climb the ladders. My question is, when should that strategy change? I have gotten Zatana (from the challenge), elite 2 Regime Black Adam (my staple "anchor" so far), Teen Titan Cyborg, Prison Superman (who I am underwhelmed by), and just pulled Red Son Wonder Woman. Of these, I'm fielding Cyborg, Black Adam, and RSWW as an "A" team; letting Cyborg take the early pounding while the others build a bit, and swap him out for BA's lightning shield + specials and letting him regen on the bench if needed. I like Zatanna, but she seems a bit fragile. Is she worth investing in? At this point, should I start pouring coins into upgrading this bench's powers? Are gear packs worth much investment? Should I just keep pulling cheap gold packs in the hopes of a good Superman/Batman or more synergy characters, or is this a decent grade starting gold team? Also, where's a good coin grinding spot? I'm slowly working through the story/arcade mode, swapping in silvers (Regime Nightwing, Green Arrow, Bane) to save gold card energy while I level my RSWW or Cyborg. I could use some tips on where's a good energy to coin ratio for mid-twenties cards, and what I should invest in. Any hints are greatly appreciated Alternatively, a pointer to a newbie FAQ or discussion board for such strategies would be cool too.
I use Battle 36. Not sure if thats most effective but you only facing 2 enemies and i usually can get away with just one gold character. Apart maybe Adam because he is a complete failure. God he sucks so much.
In your situation what worked well for me was farming battle 32 A LOT. 36 if you have less time. Then SAVE up for Red Son Packs! Get those red sons up to E7 which will take a ton of grinding but is worth it! Sprinkle in a gold pack once in a while for variety. Try to fight your way to BB6 - the ultimate farming battle. If you have time go back on this forum and read the posts over the past few months. I only started playing this game about 5 months ago, but thanks to the helpful advice of the veteran players on here (all documented on this board) it helped me grow my roster and eventually pass BB7. I have a decision to make that I hope you guys can help me with. I pulled a Red Son Superman from a gold pack today. Lucky, especially considering he's my favourite character! Problem is I already have him at E7. So do I keep him in the event of a future update which increases the promotion limit to E10? Or do I sell him back for 72,300 credits? I'm tempted to keep him, let me know what you guys think.
Excellent, I will give this a try. Wish that Red Son pack was discounted a bit At least I have RSWW, so that's a jump start. Wish RS Batman was in that pack, or "sold separately" at least. Back to farming! I have a bit of a trip to battle 32, it seems. Only on 27 now
If you are stuck and can't reach battle 32 you can farm battle 5 and BB1 easily and quickly. And yes RSWW was a very lucky gold pack pull!
I thought it doesnt take long to get new challenge? I saved up over 600k to make sure i had enough for requirements.
She's STILL UNRELEASED!!! Sadly... I believe (but don't quote me on this) it's a Multi-player Top 1% Season Reward. Since she's still unreleased, There's NO WAY of anyone obtaining her legitimately yet... Sadly, at this point it's all the hackers playing her at E-VII. Good luck making Top 1% with all the MP Hackers
