LOL... I guess it depends on the size & quality of your deck... If you have a large deck with a good stable of anchors to farm/grind BB6, then buy whatever you want. If your deck isn't ready for BB6, then grind Battle 36... you'll need an anchor for each team... a gold E-II/LVL-40 (or higher) with a silver and bronze card should do. Five teams will let you make a complete run without stopping... Ten teams is better. Personally, after I'm done with a challenge, I try to bank coins for the next one... although, at this point, we already know we'll need Wonder Woman, Nightwing, and Flash for the upcoming Luchador Bane Challenge. A gold Wonder Woman (your choice), New 52 Nightwing, & ElseWorld Flash would make the next Challenge easier... just saying.
Next Update Henxcingaming & Team Admin are reporting (unverified) a pending update with a new promotion/level cap set at E-IX/LVL-60!!! New cards and battles??? Anyone else see/hear anything on this? Gonna lurk my usual sites and see what else I can find.
Well I'm a Deathstrokes fanatic. I have a E7 Deathstroke, E7 Nightwing, and AO Deathstroke on my team. I'm wondering if I should just go ahead and buy a stronger Nightwing or get lobo, or just any card I get from the gold booster. Would I be better off just working on AOD?
Red Son Deathstroke is one of my favorites... besides being my first Challenge Card... his OP Special 2 is one of the BEST. At E-VII/LVL-50 he's AWESOME. At this point you can't promote Nightwing past E-VII... and you'll hit the experience wall at level 46 unless you're ready for the seventh stage of battles. You know you can complete Challenges three times right?
I keep thinking I'm getting ready to grind out the last of my gold to E-V... my completionist attitude get's excited... "won't be long now"... and then, WHAM, another update. I haven't been able to confirm anything yet... gotta keep digging. Bought New 52 Nightwing to E-V... pulled another BRC in my daily... STILL no Shazam!!! Gonna start banking for my last two Darksied cards...

Who should I choose?
Attention sweetdis: It costs about 100K to max out Specials/Supers for each card, no matter what the foil... Bronze, Silver, or Gold. As you progress to higher battles, it's better to invest in gold cards since bronze & silver won't have the health or damage to help carry a fight; however, if you totally ignore your bronze & silver stable you'll have a tough time with challenges. Early on, your challenge goal should be to complete the Normal Ladder. The mistake most people make is not paying attention to passives. Picking a core with complimentary passives will make things easier. Example... as great as Red Son Cards are, their passive doesn't do much for non-Red Son Cards. The best cards are cards that play nice with EVERYONE... such as Batman Prime, Krypto Lex Luthor, and Animated Harley Quinn. You have a good starting stable... with your deck, I would promote RS, Batman Prime, N52NW, and RKF to E-II... maxing their Specials/Supers along the way. Everyone seems to overlook the value of the Support Cards... Don't forget them. See my detailed Support Card explanation... just filter through my previous posts. A good formula for a team is Tank (high damage), Brick (high health), Power Drainer. Don't underestimate the value of power drainers... especially from KLex, N52NW, AGA, and even Martian Manhunter. KLex is probably the BEST choice due to his passive. When you can farm/grind Battle 36 you can net 18.5K... you'll need an E-II for each team to carry a battle on their own. Your goal is to grind without stopping for energy to recharge. Once you get a solid group of gold E-V/LVL-40 (or higher) move up to Bonus Battle 6... I use 5 teams to farm continuously... about 20K/10-15 minutes. There's a good BB6 Mirror Match explanation In my previous posts as well. My go-to teams for Challenges: Bronze Only: Insurgency Deathstroke, Lex Luthor, Cyborg (or Nightwing) Silver Only: Regime Green Lantern, Lex Luthor, Cyborg (or Nightwing) Gold cards: I use my complimentary anchors with whatever requirement card that I'm forced to play. There are several OP cards that are worth their weight in Gold; however, the grind is incredibly painful until you can farm BB6: AO Batman, Darksied, Red Son Booster Pack. Don't forget to generate your WBID and collect your daily bonuses... even if all you do that day is log in for the bonus. And Don't forget to watch the store for sales. Good Luck & Happy Grinding.
Hi All! I'm back from vacation - just to show how unhealthy my obsession is for this game I still managed to fit in the time to get AO Deathstroke to E1 and did manage to beat the Green Lantern battle of Nightmare challenge, but I think that's where my challenge run ends. I have 530k credits left so I need to decide where to spend them. I want to upgrade my red son team to E3, and I also want to "splurge" on a challenge pack since I missed out on all the challenge characters before Killer Frost. I know it is not the "strategic" thing to do, but man I really want a Darkseid, Batgirl, RS Deathstroke, and Flash could come in handy for the next challenge. Or I could hold on to my credits and see if there is another sale soon. I've had bad luck with recent gold packs pulling only Banes, Jokers, and Insurgency Batmans lately so I am hesitant to go there. I also read on another message board that AO Deathstroke is now the best character in the entire game, so I am very tempted to upgrade him to E2. Decisions!
Briscoe, you mention that you use 5 teams to farm BB6. Does that mean you have 15 guys that are EV 50 or better? Or do you sprinkle in some lower level ones to help them get leveled? I'm struggling with getting leveled up beyond 40 and my guess is that I need to a) max out all the powers, and b) buy more of that card to get them higher E status. I'm thinking that maybe I am just being impatient and wanting to move to better fights than 36 for coins/XP but probably not ready for it and just making myself frustrated.
The experience wall hits you in the face at level 46... I only have a handful at level 50; however, ALL of my golds are at level 40 or better. Cards at E-V or above: Regime Aquaman, Bane, Batman Prime, AO Batman, Insurgency Batman, Regime Black Adam, BR Catwoman, TT Cyborg, Darkseid, RS Deathstroke, Doomsday, MOS Zod, Arrow Green Arrow, JS Green Lantern, Arkham Harley Quinn, Martian Manhunter, N52 Nightwing, RSS Grundy, Superman Prime, MOS Superman, RS Superman, Regime Superman, EW Flash, Insurgency Joker, RS Wonder Woman, & Regime Wonder Woman... My lineup to grind BB6 is currently as follows: 1) Mirror Match: I use Flash, Regime Flash, EWFlash E-V/LVL-48... See my Mirror Match bronze & silver experience boost explanation in previous posts. I'm using the Scarlett Speedster Trio now because he's a requirement card for the upcoming Bane Challenge. 2) vs. Red Card GL, ???, ???: I use Doomsday E-VII/LVL-47, Darkseid E-V/LVL46, and a bronze E-V or higher 3) vs. Lobo, Red Card Regime Flash, ???: RSS E-VII/LVL-50, RSSG E-VII/LVL-48, RSB E-II/LVL-46 4) vs. Red Card Regime Black Adam, Red Card Regime Doomsday, ???: AOB E-VII/LVL-50, Batman Prime E-VII/LVL-50, Batgirl E-III/LVL-49 (or whatever card needs XP) 5) vs. Regime WW, Prison Superman, Insurgency Batman: RSSW E-VII/LVL-50, WW600 E-II/LVL-50, Animated Harley Quinn LVL-50... no subs on this one... It's purely coins. Switching teams in between each battle let's me grind for hours without waiting for energy to recharge. My deck gives me a TON of combinations I can use to farm BB6... but this one let's me insert a bronze or silver here or there for XP.
Welcome Back I can't see the AOD being any better than RSD... 850 damage 1100 health vs. 950 damage 900 health. AOD's passive only works for him and it only works if you can hit 200%. RSD's OP Special 2 still gives him the advantage in my book. As far as "Best in Game"... I still put him WAY behind AOB, WW600, and even Krypto Lex Luthor (AOD can't use a Special 1 if he's been power drained)... LOL
Ok look all this talk about BB6 is hurting my head LOL all you need is like 3 cards that are E-2 or higher to run the gauntlet of BB6. What you do is take 1 of them and pair them with 2 other half decent cards maybe E-1's. You can play what 3 matches with that team then switch em out with your next team as stated above. Rinse and repeat and you are done with BB6. A E-1 Shazam can anchor a crappy team all the way through BB6 if you have the energy to keep him going. Keep in mind I dont have any cards over E-3 and can mop up BB6 fine with lower cards than that. I am on battle 48 as of now but am having a little harder of a time as I need my E-2 and E-3 cards for it every time. One anchor and some junk cards doesnt work all that well there
LOL! Yup... It's a tough grind with E-IIIs, but doable (WITH A CRAPLOAD OF GEAR). A few Vs make the battles go quicker and let you boost a few bronze or silvers. I've been playing so long I've almost forgot what it was like to struggle through BB6. The last fight w/RWW was probably the toughest... Especially since Insurgency Batman will Special 2 with only one bar. I didn't beat this one till my Red Sons were maxed out at the old cap of E-V. I'm merely sharing a method of continuous grinding... No stopping for energy to recharge... No using energy cards. Now BB7... That's a BEE-OTCH!!! LOL

Over on "another" message board everyone is in love with him with the majority saying he is better than AOB which is what got my attention. Some were already speculating that he is bound to be nerfed in the next update. After reading that I excitedly upgraded him to E2 as a bargain at 211k. Hopefully I have not been duped.
Omg guys I have a confession to make lol. This whole time I was still thinking BB5 was BB6 for some reason. Now I have beat BB6 no problem but only with my A team. The sad thing is imagine if I was constantly farming BB6 instead of BB5, I would have a lot more coins..... I mean I was using BB5 as my coin generator
