I just noticed after all this time I dont have the plus 5% exp for all characters support card.... Does it make that big a difference?

I just tried my first multiplayer games, and I kicked everyone's @ss! I don't really know why, all my best characters were tired so I just threw out a team of TTC E1, RSSG E3 and RBA E1 and beat teams that had AO Batman, Red Son Deathstroke E4, Containment Doomsday, etc, even this weird Batman I hadn't seen before. I went 5-0 against various teams and did all the daily bonuses - I guess those guys weren't used to my newbie style of play:)

Yes... The increased XP card makes a difference... by 5% LOL. It's not much, but if you have been lucky enough to draw ALL of the +XP cards they add up pretty quick. It's rather expensive to buy the +XP cards from the store... I waited for the random draws. BTW: the return rate on selling back extra cards of this type is pretty significant.

The most important support cards, IMHO, are the +energy cards. If you wanna grind... you gotta have energy.

I bought the +Energy, Health, and Damage support cards in that order... and then maxed out the specials & supers. The cost of maxing specials & supers is about 100k/card NO MATTER WHAT FOIL THEY ARE (bronze, silver, or gold)... so you have to prioritize who will benefit you the most.

The BEST way to get XP is to farm the highest battles that you're capable of. If you can't make it past a battle, back out chose a lower battle to reset the fight, and then fight on.

Example: BB6 Mirror Match... a bronze, bronze (or silver), and a gold E-V w/maxed out specials & super. When it says "Begin", immediately tag in your gold, eat the damage from the bronze till you have two bars then swipe attack him to death. The trick is to tag in your cannon fodder (bronze or silver) to eat the specials from your gold opponent and then super move them to oblivion with your gold. "Victory"... back out, choose a lower battle, DON'T fight it, go right back to BB6 Mirror Match... Wash, Rinse, Repeat.

    Good Luck

    Congrats!!!

The Multiplayer isn't true PVP... you play vs. another player's cards who are controlled by AI. If you can master the timing of the interrupt you can get off unblocked specials and do pretty well.

The best thing about Multiplayer is the Gear drops/rewards. The worst thing about Multiplayer are the hackers... E-VII/LVL-50 Shazam with fully evolved gear my A$$!!!

I log into WBID for daily bonuses... but I don't play Multiplayer anymore.

    If you're having fun... Cheers!!!

I thought the support cards didnt stack. Like it only uses the highest % one you have?

    Support Cards

Do not confuse Support Cards with Upgrade Cards (used to upgrade Specials & Supers). You cannot buy Upgade Cards in the store... You buy them directly from the character card or you find them in booster packs. Be careful, as these will automatically show up in your sell item inventory no matter if you need them or not.

OK, there are three types of support cards: Character Specific (like Fortess of Solitude), ALL Character (like Bizaro), and ALL Character Alliance Credit (like Starfire). You can tell a Support Card from an Upgrade Card by the cool pictures on them. Upgrade Cards are silver/grey and have the character's symbol on them.

Now, let's discuss how Support Cards work...

Character Specific (+Energy, +Health, +Damage): These grant ALL cards with that character on them the bonus listed no matter what foil (bronze, silver, or gold). You do NOT need to buy multiple copies. Example: You buy Acrobat for Nightwing, it automatically works for Regime Nightwing and New 52 Nightwing.

ALL Character (+Energy, +XP): These grant your entire deck the bonus listed. You will not see them listed on your cards (like Character Specific). You will only see these via the collection tab. Multiple copies of the same card do not stack & will automatically show up in your sell item inventory. Similar effect cards, like Bizaro and Supergirl, DO STACK.

ALL Character Alliance Credit (+Health, +Damage): These grant ALL cards in your deck the listed effect. You can ONLY buy these via the store. You can ONLY buy these with Alliance Credits. These are NOT in booster packs. Just like Character Specific and All Character, multiples of the same card are worthless... the store will tell you "you already have one". Cards with similar effects DO STACK.

The cards you buy or sell are up to the player's priorities... however, if you're going to grind for coins... +Energy is where it's at.

Darn, I thought I was kicking some hacker's butt! I fail to see how that is multiplayer at all. Anyway, I got Reg Superman up to E4, I'm going to get one more and then stop and hope for the rest to come in the gold packs. I'm still hoping R Supes at E5 can carry me to victory over RSB:)

    Insurgency Batman

He's a top tier... personally, as far as Batman(s) go I rank him fourth:
    1. AO Batman
    2. Batman Prime
    3. Red Son Batman (after Prime because passive only works w/Red Sons)
    4. Insurgency Batman
    5. Blackest Night Batman (only cool between midnight and sunrise)
    6. Batman Beyond (good vs. Martian Manhunter)

There have been previous Challenges which required Insurgency Cards ONLY for Battle 4... haven't seen one like that in quite awhile.

His stats are pretty good. His passive isn't all that much (but it has been fixed). His Special 2 does good damage but it only has one strike (can't take out multiple opponents like Batman Prime).

    Besides all that... He's BATMAN!!!

Insurgency Batman is my highest ranked card (besides the Sons) and was my only Batman until RS challenge. I am so used to seeing him. I played a game against regular Batman and his face looked like he had scurvy. Just weird, and no nose!

Plus I might be forming an unhealthy addiction to opening gold packs. Even when its not the 75k one lol.

I did it! I finally beat expert RSB with my Regime Supes E5 (thanks for the advice on him boys), RSWW E2, and bronze Catwoman. Highlights were I supered him twice with Supes and once with RSWW. Catwoman also snuck in a level 2 special attack and proceeded to knock RSB down 3 times without even moving his health bar in the slightest, lol:)

My gear reward was Blue Ring.

I played the online tournament and one a few gears the first time around. This past week I played a little better and was placed even higher than last time but did not get any gear awards, even though it says I should have. Anyone experience this before. If not please advise, whether I can make a complaint somewhere to adders this.

I've still not received my season rewards yet either, so you're not alone... Although I've read of other people not getting theirs in the past, I've had it be pretty slow to come through for myself on occasion (while still getting it eventually), so I don't know how many of those cases resolved themselves in the end. Certainly the multiplayer has been much more solid since recent updates.

    Congrats!

That E-V and your E-IIs will help you grind out some coin! Once you get about ten gold cards at E-II or above you can grind Battle 36 without pausing... Pair up two golds and a bronze (or silver) that needs XP.

Start banking coins for the next challenge... wish we knew who was gonna post first. I'm kinda hoping for Luchador Bane.

I had some problems when I first installed 2.0. To be fair... I think everyone did. The Multiplayer has always been a bit glitchy... I hated the constant "lost connection" even when I was on WiFi. I've had gear rewards pop up outta nowhere the next day.

I've read about your scenario happening to others on multiple bulletin boards. I'm sure NR knows it's a problem... hope there's a patch pending in an update.

I save myself the headache and just play the regular battles and challenges... the gear from the store is relatively cheap and has a pretty decent drop rate (although I only have about ten or twelve gear cards).

Yeah, those "lost connection" shenanigans, were maddening early on, thank goodness they've been sorted it seems :p

From my perspective, I would definitely say that multiplayer is only really worthwhile once you've got a very strong team together, as only the higher tier rewards are worth the effort, given the low drop rate of 3 star items from the booster packs. To those that may not be aware of this, the battle rating you earn per fight that determines your end of season tier is based on your Level and Elite rank. As such, a team of mid level Bronze folk, will have to play a much larger number of matches to earn the same points as a team of Gold Lvl-50 E-VII's.
