My daily pick is Regime Superman, a new card for me. Congratulations Briscoe! Battle 49 was a witch! My red son level 50 E 7 finally beat them but it took many many tries to get the timing just right. I got halfway through BB7 and hit a wall hard. Can't do it.
Hey CygnetSeven, as a casual player looking long term, how did you E7 your elite team? Did you just keep buying their individual cards or Red Son pack 7 times? If so how long did it take you to earn enough credits? How long have you been playing the game? Thanks in advance!
My game got wiped with the update so about 2 months. I farmed Battle 5 for coins until I had cards that could handle Battle 36, then farmed that one. Still Battle 36 is my go to for coins. I'm up to about 12 teams that can handle it. That nets me about 40K each time so if I do that twice a day I can get a gold card every day. I bought my Red Sons all in the booster packs. It took about three days for each pack but it's a ton of grinding. Not for everyone but I like it. I then took them through the whole game leveling them up. They really can get you through the game. Well worth it. I won't be able to beat Bonus Battle 7 unless I buy a lot of gear though. Oh well. Basically now I'm just collecting cards and playing challenges. I don't do the online stuff. I won't use my WBID cause that's what wiped my first game.
Thanks for the response CS. How did your game/progress get wiped? I recently formatted/restored my ipad (amazing how much space clears up when you do that lol). When I entered my WBID it restored my game progress, asking me if I wanted to do so. Even though I had backed up my documents follder I was happy about that. I think the smart/prudent thing to do for any one who is investing a lot of time/money into a game would be to do frequent back ups of save game.
There is a known problem with the game: since 2.0 was released there were a TON of players who got data-wiped. If the game ever asks "is this you" turn off the app and restart. There is a problem between cloud-saves, WBID, and computer back-ups... combine that with NetherRealms buggy anti-hack software and BOOM.
Grind Plan your teams (Bronze & Silver) around the passive abilities that compliment each other. Grind out a daily 25% gold booster (or use console to unlock Prison Superman). Grind to higher battles for higher xp & coins. Buy daily gold booster packs until you can farm Battle 36... then grind a few gold card teams to E-V. Push on to Bonus Battle 6 and farm credits (20k/15min) and grind out your E-VIIs I've been playing (almost every day) since the first Zod Challenge and I only have four E-ViIs: the Red Sons and AO Batman... so it can take awhile... as you can see, I JUST beat Battle 49. The developers are counting on a players impatience leading to in-app purchases, but it's NOT necessary. There's some pretty detailed explanations & advice in the previous 238 pages of posts...
BB6 is the best XP/Coin return in the game... about 20k/15min... IF you have about five gold teams at E-V/LVL-40 or above. If you don't, then you have to wait for power to recharge costing you time on your grind. BB6 is the BEST place to level up Bronze & Silver Cards: See my post about using the Mirror Match. You can comfortably farm Battle 36 (about 18.5k/20+min) with a good roster of Gold E-IIs and some cannon fodder. Battle 36 is the BEST battle for farming Challenge Coins!!! Once you get to Level 46 you hit an XP wall... it's best to move your Gold E-Vs (or above) up to higher battles to get to level 50; however, the coin return is not as good as either Battle 36 or BB6.
Gotcha, thats kind of what I have been doing. Another issue of mine is I dont really max out my specials lol. I am usually using my coins for new cards and such so I only maybe put like 1 or 2 levels into the first and 2nd specials then maybe 5 or 6 into the 3rd special.
It's right around 100k to max out a card's specials... you CAN get away with not doing it at Battle 36 & below; however, for the better coin levels and Nightmare Challenges you gotta do it. Don't forget your Power, Health, & Damage support cards... character specific cards work for ALL characters, no matter what the foil (Bronze, Silver, Gold)
Oh yeah I have all the support cards really. I just wish money was a bit easier to get man I can only imagine how much funner it would be!
Yeah, Briscoe summed it up. I don't have enough cards to play BB6 yet. Besides my Red Sons I have Insurgency Batman E7 L47, R Wonder Woman E3 L41, and Superman E2 L45 as my next three powerful cards. Bane is E4 L31 but really he's a weaker card. I should probably concentrate more on my Darkseid card and Krypto Lex.
LOL... No you DON'T... Darkseid's stats are MONSTROUS. He's a great card... When he's maxed out at E-VIi/LVL-50 he can go toe-to-toe with ANYONE. His passive only works with Bronze Cards... but you'll get passed that when he's flanked by AOB and RSS.
Thanks a lot man....Darkseid is my most desired card from the old challenges that I missed. This message you just posted only makes the regret worse! Ok another question: If I promote my Red Sons team to EII....what do you guys think are my chances of beating Red Son Batman on expert difficulty with the team of RSS (EII), RSWW (EII), and Bronze Catwoman (E0)?
I would say you will be alright. Also just a FYI Darkseid can make some bronze characters pretty strong so that helps leveling them too.
If I buy a challenge pack, the guys I want are Darkseid, Batgirl, Containment Doomsday, and RS Deathstroke. Anyone have any experience getting any of these from a challenge pack? What are my chances?
Question: When you "Sell Items" in the Store, does it display ONLY the extra cards you have that are sellable or is it displaying ALL the cards you own total. What I mean is if I sell one of the cards below that says I have "x 1" of them, am I getting rid of it completely and will no longer have it? Or does that mean I have one extra of that card, and it's telling me I can sell the extra. Hope that made sense I've been sticking to only selling cards when I have "x 2" or more of them because I'm scared to accidentally sell something and lose these cards.
