Yea, it's only 60k. I would rather find a way to earn it though - I still have 14 days. I'll find a way or if not then Ill skip it. Is there somewhere I can find a good explanation of how gear works? I heard you can use it or break it up? Any recommendations for when that time comes?
Gear is just the gravy for the meat & potatoes... a good deck is more important at this point. Take the gear as it comes... it is COSTLY to upgrade and/or evolve. Gear ranges from 1-4 stars (although 4 stars is only available via evolving). Evolving gear is a little more complicated than promoting character cards... You first have to upgrade it ten times using a combination of gear "shards" and coins. After the tenth time you can evolve (raise the star level) the gear. Each card is capable of using three pieces of gear (you must open/buy the second & third slots). Only one card may use a particular piece of gear at a time no matter how many copies you possess. Fully evolved gear can make an awesome card AWESOME... which, if you play enough Multi-player, you'll see for yourself... especially via the hackers that always find thier way back in. Personally... I don't think you can defeat Bonus Battle 7 without gear. I only have about eight pieces of gear... and only three 3 Star pieces... That's a tough one... That's like the difference between Jack Daniels and Jim Beam; they're both top shelf and they'll both knock your dork in the dirt. Doomsday's passive is AWESOME if used right... I like to boost his health or power generation with the other team members if I can. Honestly... my CSD is only E-II, but he's fun to play. I like to pair Doomsdays with either Red Son Grundy or Boss Grundy just for giggles. CSD' low stats are made up for by his passive and his specials. With the right team he's a beast... CSD, KJJ, and KLex (or RSSG) are another fun team. I know I danced around the question... I like 'em both.
I like them both also but if I had to choose probably CSD. It might be because he is promoted once for me too though. But I like to use his special 2 right before he dies and revives because after that his special bars practically fill right back to 2. I also like to use him against say the normal Doomsday because if he knocks you out it doesnt count as a hero killer because CSD can revive a few times.
Is there any way the hackers can predict when there is going to be a sale? I want to upgrade a few characters but have a hard time parting with ~200k each while I'm also saving up for red son packs.
The daily discounted 75,000 gold packs are available once per day as a "sale" (100,000 regular price) - it's a pretty good deal considering the cheapest gold card costs 133,000 individually in the store. I get these whenever I can afford them, usually a couple per week.
Woo Hooo!!! I just beat Battle 49 AOB... FINALLY!!! What a BEAST! AOB (E-VII/LVL-50), RSWW (E-VII/LVL-50), RSS (E-VII/LVL-50) Still tough... NO PASSIVES IS HARD!!! The trick is getting AOB to use Batarangs instead of that DEADLY Special 2. Any time I knocked him down (or use a heavy attack combo) he KiCKED MY LIGHTS OUT. I used tap attack string and didn't finish the last swipe... He hit me with Batarangs more than kicks (luck?) and I got a Super Move off with all three. Love the payoff... 78k. I wonder what it's reduced to for the second time through??? BB7 left to go... I need a few more E-VIIs and a CRAPLOAD OF GEAR!!!
I was actually asking for gold currency packs, not gold card packs. Is there ever any sales on gold currency?
