I have 2 Jokers thankfully. But yea it helps if you have multiple cards of the challenge ones needed. Especially if you have powerful cards that can pull more than there weight.

If someone can let me know the stats on the Red Son Batman at the end of the Expert level (E and Level) I would appreciate it. I didn't take note.

Killing Joke would be nice. And why no Penguin or Riddler cards?

Fairly new to this game and trying to build up my teams. Wondering if they ever have sales on gold or if cost are always the same. Thanks

Ok guys I am on the nightmare challenge but if i am going to make it I need to promote a lot of guys. I am not to worried about my gold cards but I need to promote a lot of my bronze and silver guys. Is it best to buy the booster packs for bronze and silver or just buy the cards?

    Expert RSB

RSB was E-II (don't remember the level... 40 perhaps?) in the last last fight of Expert Challenge Battle 5.

If you're just looking to complete the challenge, buy the cards... you'll spend less by avoiding the ones you don't want. For Bronze I recommend Lex Luthor, Nightwing, Cyborg, and Deathstroke (nice to have an option for different things like countdown matches).

For Silver Team, Lex Luthor & GL are a MUST have

Right I mean I know what I need for this challenge but overall what about future ones? Wouldnt it be better to just have a overall collection of decently promoted cards?

I agree - this is my strategy for gold cards because the special gold packs are less than half the price of most gold characters. But the bronze and silver characters are not so much more expensive individually compared to what you would save on a pack, so I would just buy the bronze/silvers individually.

    Building a Deck

    Building a deck 101:

When NOT in a challenge, BANK YOUR COINS.

Buy a Daily Gold Booster Pack (and pocket the surplus)... with luck you can promote a few to Elite a time or two... NOTE: even a bad draw increases your deck size. The goal is to fight as many battles as possible (grind) w/out stopping for energy to recharge.

Bronze Booster Packs: a deal/steal at 8k credits... The random draw is the only downside; however, a good draw with the two support cards can make these a good investment credit-wise.

Bronze MUSTS: Lex Luthor, Nightwing, Green Arrow, & Deathstroke

    Silver Boosters... same as Bronze

Silver MUSTS: Green Lantern, Lex Luthor, Nightwing

Bronze & Silver Cards are basically useless in higher levels... You'll only need them as cannon fodder or for Challenges.

While in a Challenge... buy ONLY prerequisite card purchases... and ONLY those that you need to get through the ladder that you're prepared for. You're better off buying direct from store... You can spend your entire cashe on random draws without getting the card you want/need. At lower levels (and with a limited deck) your goal for a Challenge is to beat the Normal ladder, gain one Limited Release Gold Card and unlock it in the store... that way you can avoid the random Challenge Boosters.

When challenge is over continue buying Daily Gold Boosters.

SALES... Watch for sales... they're not a frequent as they used to be; however, when they hit you'll be happy that you banked some coins.

Once you get ten gold cards at Elite-II you're ready to farm Battle 36. Five teams with two Gold E-IIs plus a Bronze or Silver (try to compliment passives) and you can net 18.5k in about 20 minutes. Wash, Rinse, Repeat. You can promote Bronze or Silver Cards QUICKLY from here.

Thanks Briscoe. He was tough. Went toe to toe with my RS Supes.
I have 350K saved up and I'm torn between buying one AO Batman or four gold booster packs.

    Boosters

Personally, I ONLY buy the Daily 25% off Gold Boosters... then I don't feel like I wasted 100k on a poopy draw.

I've been buying one EVERY day (in between Challenges)... STILL not a single Shazam!!!

I still have my fingers crossed that they'll introduce a scarecrow card.

Always check for the Challenge Heads up... It'll let ya know who you'll need to level up (or prepare to promote) for the upcoming challenges.

With AOD and LB left to go, you're gonna need RGL (or JSGL), N52NW, EWF, WW (preferably a gold one of your choice), TTC, and AGA

I'm in a good spot... I only have to get Nightwings and Cyborgs ready for the Nightmare runs... the rest are GOOD TO GO.

FINALLY became a Senior Member of the Touch Arcade Thread... I was WONDERING how long it would take... or what ya gotta do.

Personally, I would have preferred Commadore or Brigadier General... just sounds fancier :p

    After almost a year! congrats!

My four picks were Bane, Doomsday, 52 Nightwing, and Regime Wonder Woman. Not too shabby.

Ok, I think I'm going to bite the bullet and buy Joker so I can complete this challenge. Ok, so I need some advice: considering my goal is to beat this challenge on Expert mode, should I buy silver or gold joker? I have E2 RWW and E2 Green Arrow.

I ended up buying Killing Joke Joker today 'cause I finally saved up enough tokens--I should've asked beforehand really, but was that a mistake? Should I have spent the tokens on some of the support cards instead? I needed a Joker for the challenge anyway, but..

I think you made the right call and the timing is perfect. I am currently saving for Killing Joke Joker.
