LOL... I think my coffee came outta my nose!!! I "tried" Bonus Battle 7... I got my butt whooped SO BAD in the first fight that I gave up immediately. I'm pretty sure that you'll need a good inventory of gear in order to complete the game.
I just wanna say that this game no longer supports iOS 5.x as advertised, as the game crashes instantly upon boot. After the recent updates (I believe it was around the 2.x updates), this happened, hence I can't even play the game anymore. I've contacted customer support and they said that the game doesn't support iOS 5.x anymore......which is a HUGE disappointment. I'm running iOS 5.x.x on my iPad 2, which is plenty capable to run this game as it did in the past.
Dude even if you did pull him once you have no way of promoting him besides trying to pull him again. He doesnt show up in the store after that or anything. Granted he is super strong but wont be able to compete unless you can get constant access to more of his cards to promote.
Wow and I thought my pulls were bad... Have you been keeping track of the cards you got? Did ya get like 45 Banes or Black Adams? At least you outta have a pretty good collection of E-VIIs by now.
Ok I need HELP!! I am stuck on Bonus Battle 5 with my current cast of gold Green Arrow (level 32), GL Sinestro (30) and Bane (33). I am stuck on the fight against Bane, Black Adam, and Flash. I have my supermoves completely maxed out but cannot build my meter fast enough before these guys plow through me with their special attacks even though I am blocking. Black Adam with the yellow ball floating around him is especially difficult as I can't figure how to get rid of the yellow thing without taking damage unless I use GA or GLS level 1 special moves but them I have no bar left and am screwed. I want to pass this so I can unlock Black Adam and finish the challenge, I think I'm really close. Anyone have any tips on how to deal with this fight, or is my roster just too weak? If I grind enough for a red sons pack in the next few days will the non elite red sons team be able to get me past BB5?
Black Adam's damage shield will reflect damage back to you (not good to hit with a special). Tap attack 3 times to make it go away. BLOCK ALL SPECIALS. You might have better luck if you can time a Special 2 as unblockable (catch opponent just as he starts a basic attack combo). AGA might be your go-to guy here with his power drain... use continuous Special 1s to keep enemies power meter depleted. Tagging in/out can be performed WHILE you are using a Special... real easy with a rapid swipe attack. You can also tag when using a Super move. There's a ONE SECOND WINDOW... upon executing a Super Move IMMEDIATELY tag your next guy AND BLOCK. When the Super Move animation is completed your next card will already be in play. Challenge for RKF is closing soon... you only have to beat the challenge ONCE to unlock her in the store. If not, you'll have to get her with Challenge Booster Packs. I hate to say it; however, you may have to spend some of those credits you've been banking. Either BUY Regime Black Adam from store or buy another card (AGA, GLS, or Bane) and promote one to E-I. The Red Son Pack won't be high enough in level to be effective right out of the gate (and you'll have to spend 300k to max out their specials)... They ain't going anywhere. Good Luck
Personally... I would nab RBA and go for the challenge and then use the remaining challenge days to farm coins. Bonus Battle 5 was pretty tough unless whole team was promoted a time or two. The dual challenge radiation/dampening field is not fun. I'm pretty sure I used Silver GL and RWW (pre-nerf) to get through this one. Note: the last RKF Challenge ladder is all Gold Level-1 to start... may be an easier fight. Watch some YouTube vids of BB5 completion and make your decision.
What do you guys think of gold doomsday? Can he be part of an "A" team? His special is awesome if used right.
Doomsday I love him. He's great with TT Cyborg + CS Doomsday or Boss Grundy He's also great w/Krypto Lex + RS Solomon Grundy or Animated Harley Definitely a top tier Gold Card.

Okay, there are gear, specifically the Promethean Longsword, the Powered Eskrima Sticks, and the Netherrealm Kama. Each give a 50% increase in damage to basic attacks. But if you put all three on the same card, the card becomes basically unbeatable. Red Son Deathstroke, whose basic swipe attacks of 750-900 are increased to over 9000 and the you partner him with Red Son Superman and his basic attacks are over 11000. He is mowing through the final battle in seconds, beating most cards in two or three attacks. His weakness is that his health has no aid so if someone gets in a cheap shot it can wipe him out quickly. Trade out NetherRealm Kama for Mutated Bone Spikes... you still get boost to basics + heal on Special 1 This gear list lets me plan ahead on what to evolve and how to stack them. I can't wait to start collecting gear, but promotions and challenges take priority at this point. I only have six pieces of gear (two 3 star) and I haven't even unlocked the second or third slots on any of my cards yet. The 3 Star gear for completing the Nightmare ladder is an AWESOME addition to the challenges.
Agreed I only have a few pieces also. I think I do have 2 that boost melee attacks by 50% then 1 that blocks 10% more dmg when blocking.
