Congrats Briscoe!!! A question for everyone, since WW Regime has been nerfed, who is the most powerful card and what is the most powerful team?
Raw Power RS Superman and AO Batman (when they're both maxed out) are even in stats; however, since RS Superman's passive only works with other Red Son characters, I give AO Batman the better edge. Martian Manhunter is my guilty pleasure... not as powerful as the previous two; but his passive makes him FUN. As far as teams go, any of the Red Sons w/RSS, RSWW, and RSDS or RSSG (I can't wait to see the passive for RS Batman). The MOST POWERFUL team: RS Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman 600, and Animated Harley Quinn. This combination makes RSWW a BEAST OF UNPARALLELED PROPORTION. WW600 can bat clean up... IF there's anything left. I've been using this combo with an E-VII RSWW, E-II WW600, and a basic AHQ to smash the RWW, Prison Superman, Insurgency Batman match for the second to last Bonus Battle (formerly the last match)... With this combo, RSWW is capable of defeating the entire team solo. Now to finish promoting WW600 & AHQ...
Am I alone??? OK... not to knock on Regime Killer Frost... she's pretty COOL (pun intended); however, WHY do Superman (Prime) and Green Arrow get freeze attacks and RKF does not??? Am I the only one to notice that a cold themed character doesn't have a "chance to freeze" attack??? BTW: RKF w/Elseword Flash and Regime Flash are a HILARIOUSLY FUN team combo. Just unleash one special w/RKF to reduce opponents speed by 50% and the watch EWF WHOOP the crap outta them at ULTRASUPER SPEED!!! LOL.
ME TOO!!! Sometimes it's not about the Power Team... It's about making the GRIND fun. Especially when your farming Challenge Coins or Credits.
I've wondered about this too; however, it's not uncommon for your AI opponents to use moves that aren't normally available to them (us). Example: any Superman opponent, including Prison Superman, can use heat vision. Any Batman (except Blackest Night Batman) can use Batman Prime's or Insurgency Batman's Special 2. The Red Card Doomsday (Boss Battle) uses a move from the console... so on and so on...
WBID login keeps failing for me - anyone else? I changed my password but still failed. I don't want to lose my login rewards:S I just started playing so I have a bronze Harley Quinn on the line in a few days! Anyone want to tell me if I have the right idea for a beginner - I just completed battle 15 and now keep getting my butt kicked and in the challenges so I am grinding on battle 5 (Bane can tear through those guys like Kleenex at a snot party) until I save up to buy another gold pack. By doing this I am building up credits but my Xp is hardly improving. But another gold character will help greatly I figure. Any advice from all the savy veterans of this game is appreciated! My roster is: Night wing bronze E1 L18 Cyborg bronze L14 Solomon Grundy bronze L15 Cat Woman bronze L16 Green Lantern bronze L17 Flash bronze L14 Bane gold L15
You've got the right idea. There is a balance between grinding and pushing forward. Soon you will have three gold cards, then you can grind with the bronze and advance with your gold. I got my game reset two months ago and I have three battles left in the game so it is possible. Until then keep grinding Level 5, I even still go back to that level a lot.
And how the AI can interrupt your combo but you can't interrupt theirs. Or how the AI can block on the fly but you have to block in advance.
Thanks! And one more question - it seems the Red Son pack is extremely powerful. I was considering buying only 3 gold characters through the 75k packs, and then saving up for the Red Sons pack for 400k. Thoughts on that?
Hard for me to knock the Red Sons as they are my current "go to" team. I currently have them at E6 and level 50 and will hopefully finish the game with them. It's a steep climb at 400K (unfortunately you or I didn't play when the pack was on sale) but it's worth it. Especially since they've diminished WW Regime's powers.
Ok, and then for a real expert I need to ask another question on in-fight tactics. When you fight what is your preferred strategy; specifically: 1) Blocking - when to use - only on specials? Or also to block light/heavy attacks/combos - does this change as the game progresses? 2) Light attack vs heavy attack - which to use 3) Any other essential tips a newbie could use Thanks again for all the help!
Blocking You CAN interrupt the AI combos... with blocks or attacks (I recommend Specials or Supers because the AI CANNOT BLOCK an attack that interrupts a combo). Each card has a different speed statistic (which you can't see on the card). Until you get them and all their moves down it may prove to be difficult... especially if you're using, let's say, Doomsday vs. Regime Flash. Boss Cards (Red Cards) are usually faster than normal. A GOOD wifi connection (or full bar signals on 3G or 4G) will definately help... lag will make it impossible. Don't know the exact speed rank, but some of the slowest cards seem to be Doomsday, Bane, Darkseid, Superman, Solomon Grundy. Some of the faster cards include Flash, Deathstroke, Green Arrow, Nightwing.
Man I have to say I think this is my most played game on IOS ever. I mean if they had a little better IAP options there is no telling how much I might of spent. I would of paid $10 for a coin doubler easily.
1) When you block, you reduce the damage you take but you don't gain any power towards specials or supers. I usually eat their light attacks and then swipe attack. If they have enough power they will USUALLY fire off a special after a heavy combo knockdown. ALWAYS block an enemy Special. Sometimes it's better to eat all the damage (except Specials) until you can use your Supers. You can spread the damage over your team by tagging out. Always look at your opponents and figure out who is weakest... that's your power generator. Don't damage that card to the point that he/she tags out for your strong opponent. 2) Enemies gain power for each hit you land (tap/light or swipe/heavy). Tap attacks do light damage and usually have a longer combo string... they are faster (easier to land) than swipe attacks, but they can give your enemy the edge of Special moves earlier than you. I use swipe attacks unless I need one or two hits for a KO or to earn my Special/Super. 3) Save up for a few (Daily Sale) 75k Gold Boosters. A gold card is better than an Elite Bronze or Elite Silver Card. A few (about three) gold cards will let you progress a bit further and get higher/better XP and Credit yields. Don't buy Silver Boosters or cards until you need to fill out a Challenge Roster. Save up Coins (grind) in between challenges... that way you're ready to promote or buy the cards you need for the challenge. Once a challenge card is unlocked it is available in the store for direct purchase (no random booster) FOREVER. Have fun
Starting Out When you're first starting out credits are tough to grind out. You need to spend your money wisely. I recommend getting the daily gold booster (75k) for three cards. If you get a double, promote and get another sale gold booster card. The idea is to get enough cards in your roster to fight continuously without waiting for energy to recharge. Three teams with a gold card leader are great for farming lower levels. Don't forget the support cards. Energy Boosting is the most important. After that... save up to get the cards you want. Once you get a few teams with Elite-II gold cards (with maxed out specials) then move up to Battle 36. You'll net about 18.5K for completing the level.
