wow. I haven't put any money into skill upgrades outside of the initial ones to unlock the next level skills but it looks like it might be worth it. After I get the next 10,000 to get my gold booster pack of course Also its good to see that a bronze character can actually be effective at higher levels (even though he is elite V) there may be hope for using my silver deathstroke as an endgame character after all...
Hi guys, Been playing this for a few days and its awesome! I started with flash, green lantern and deathstroke, and i'm saving up for a gold pack Only thing is, how can you get more free cards from battles? I got catwoman and nightwing, and the catwoman attack support card from battles but nothing else so far...
The thing is, Bronze characters are WAY easier to elite up. I can only imagine what a level 40 Gold Elite V Regime Superman would be capable of.
Sounds like a game-breaker haha. But I doubt it's possible to get one in this lifetime without crazy amounts of IAP currency. Yeah I might look into that as a way to make my nightwing relevant. And to whoever asked how to get free cards, I'm pretty sure those are the same cards and upgrades everyone has received from those stages, meaning theyre a set reward for beating the stage. I haven't gotten a free card since, and I've completed all the stages from there to the Sinestro boss battle on the second page.
Meh, there is an exploit that Warner Bros never thought about, an in game clock. I can probably get a Gold Pack in about an hour now if I wanted to thanks to that.
I'm hoping a fix for the timers are not coming anytime soon. I'd like to get back the cards I lost before they fix it.
I think the upgrades are just taken into account automatically. As in, if you have the Catwoman damage upgrade and you're using Catwoman, it'll automatically take effect and give you whatever the percentage increase to damage is.
i think you have to equip them. tap on the card, you should see three icons that are semi transparent, one is a heart, one a blue fist, one a lightning bolt looking thing. tap the one you have the upgrade of and say equip and I think that sets it up.
Some of them self-activate like 10% health, energy regen, damage. Some have to be activated at the character card by selecting the skill. If you have a card for that skill you will see it indicated.
Yeah, I was thinking about the passive upgrades, whereas the active upgrades (skill increases) need to be manually applied. My bad.
I haven't seen this discussed yet at Toucharcade so I'll spread the news. Reading over the injustice board at gamefaqs there is a "Triple Character Team Glitch" where you can essentially level up a single character with 3X experience per match for faster leveling. quote from the gamefaqs board: Spoiler "Just remove your team from your current selection, then pick the character you want to fill your team out (Warning: This glitch will use 3x the amount of energy, so you will have to combine it with the Infinite energy glitch). Move the character to each slot, then back to the first one. Back out. You should now have a full team of one character. At the result screen, your extra slots will be filled with; Solomon Grundy (Alternate Universe) at lv 88 with 88888 health and damage. Despite saying that, it still treats it as your current character. The exp earned can be viewed in 3 stages; Should the character lv up in the 2nd/3rd slot, the lv will display the characters correct lv from that point and also the updated health/damage stats from the previous stats (previous lved up stats should the character lv up more than once)." It works! I've done this with my level 28 Gold Wonder Woman to dominate the harder levels and to raise my Gold Bane to +20. Have almost enough cash for another gold pack now.
Each upgrade card shows you which character and which variant the skill upgrade card is for. Go to that character, tap the appropriate skill (that you must have unlocked by meeting level req's) and tap upgrade. The number of upgrade cards for that skill will be shown and will be consumed one by one as you keep upgrading.
Spoiler? Well ok. Sorry I'm unfamiliar with the toucharcade rules about glitches/cheats so I'll go about reading those more closely.
How exactly do you beat the tougher levels in the second page with enemies like gold sinestro or one bronze two silvers? There are no easy ways to get money to get a silver card at that point, and I use a set of three lvl 19 flashes. Sinestro does too much damage with his specials.
