That is correct. Although i dont really like levelling up Darkfires as they are almost useless where it matters most: in boss fights. Single Element gems are more useful against them.
I use mine with nullify ring (and blunt) and I find it very effective. I'll grant you, mine is very high and took a lot of time, capped gems, gem forging and far too many chips (a tidy chunk of the Christmas bonus) to get that high but in the long term its proven worth it.
May be a dumb question but why are single Elementals better that Darkfires? If the darkfire number is higher shouldn't it do more damage in more fights than a single element or do the single elements gems actually do more damage? I rarly use the Blunt, but based on what you and others have said about it I need to give it a try.
Check out the video i posted in the previous page. It showcases how Blunt spell is pretty broken with the right gem setup. That is a Lv7000+ Raidriar, only doing 2000+ damage per hit.
Do you know if the effect of Blunt stacks? If it does, is it the damage reducing rate or the duration?
Thanks for posting the video it helps. The only negative I had with your video was the video quality (played in the forum), but realized that when viewing it in YouTube quality was much better. Not sure if the quality is a TA forum issue or an issue viewing it on an iPad. Also, not sure if it's just me, but my biggest issue with the game, other than the obvious bugs, is the entire gem "organization" structure. Don't mind the 35 slot area, but they really need the ability to view all the gems an one window. It's just far to time consuming placing extra gems in character gem slots and then having to find them when you want to create a specific gem.
I need help. Whenever I try to enable cloud save it says your are not signed in to your Game Center account but I'm already signed it! Does anybody have any idea what is this! I have already lost my save once before I don't wanna lose it again! Thanks!
Then back up regularly with iTunes (or iFunbox, iTools, whatever). Cloud server of IB3 is not reliable at all.
I agree with squashy about backing up in multiple locations. I back up to the cloud every night and backup to iTunes every 2 or 3 days. I also backup with iFunbox every one in awhile, should be more often. The advantage with iFunbox is that you it's much faster than the 1or 2 hours it takes for a restore.
Anyone know how to create an indoor attack gem? I want to create a rare attack gem but have only been able to get/find/create 1 indoor attack gem. I've had no problems with the other got 8 maxed attacked, 2 maxed outdoor attacks and 5 or 6 other outdoor attacked.
However, even saving with iFunbox isn't a sure thing. I did that for IB3 and Iron Man 3 an because it was such a difference in game updates, the older save files didn't work with the newer game versions. So, definitely only try a save file with the same version of the app that you saved it on.
Does this game save automatically when you delete it, so you can come back and have all your progress still there? Or do you need to use third-party software to do that?
It definitely saves your progress into icloud, but loading it back into a fresh install is a little hit-or-miss. So it is recommended you back up with a third party program. In my own experience, i was able to transfer savefiles between devices by repeatedly reloading the game on the new device while keeping the game open on the old device, to make sure the savefile never gets overwritten if icloud decides to store the new save file on the new device when it fails loading from the cloud. After a few tries, about 4 times, it eventually loaded fine on my ipad air.
Alright, thanks! That's really good to know. I haven't had the game on any other device, so I'm not to worried about the iCloud thing, but I might back it up anyways.
I just upgraded my phone and when I first downloaded IB3, my current game on my iPad was there! Kind of surprised me considering I lost my initial couple games early on. Really pissed me off.
