Seems simple enough. Too bad I lost my best armor to him...

And do you need 3 50% resistance gems to make 100%?

You can go in with a very weak loadout, get yourself killed, then buy your armor.

DO NOT TOUCH THE GEMS ON YOUR DEATHLESS LOOT ARMOR OR THEY (THE GEMS ) WILL BE LOST FOREVER.

    That is correct.

It's cloud service so I expect it to be automatic, but there should be something to trigger the process. Probably using the sams GC acc, but I'll have to try myself. Sure hope nothing will screw up the save.

^It was a bit buggy, but my tinkering got it working when i transferred to the new ipad air.

On the old device, KEEP IT RUNNING. Make sure that cloud saving is enabled in the options menu. Enter the character menu and exit. In my understanding, this saves the game, but im not too sure what triggers uploading your save to the cloud.

After you have entered and exited the character menu, lock the device.

Open the game on the new device. The game must not be opened from the background. Make sure the game is closed from background before attempting to load the cloudsave.

Once you open the game on the new device, it should have loaded the cloud save.

If not, close the game, remove it from running in the background.

Then unlock the first device (it was just locked so that the game doesnt close and it'll have the latest data, and not be overwritten), and open-close the character inventory again, to attempt saving to the cloud. Then try opening in the new device again from scratch.

I had to do this multiple times til the save file loaded in my ipad air.

They have a faulty cloud saving/loading system, and one that could mess up your savefile forever.

^Fastest way to get elemental gems is to play through the shortest mission.

Personally, I equip xp+ gems, gold+ gems, and then equip a holy spell and rush through the Observatory location (forgot the name, but it's where you fight Oslim). It has only 4 battles, 4 treasure chests, and zero boss fights. It also moves time between 3'20" to 3'45".

Everytime you complete it, you can buy 2 elemental gems.

Thanks Exact-Psience I'll try your multiple device sync suggestion tonight. My iPad mini which I mostly play on is current, but even after two re installs on my 5S, it (5S) is picking up a cloud backup over a week ago.

I would advice that you do an iCloud and/or iTunes backup before trying. That way if it syncs to an older version you can reinstall from that backup. This saved me earlier this week.

With what i did, there's no way the source save file can be overwritten since the app is never closed on the old device.

    That's true.

I just reread my post and when I said "I would advice that you do an iCloud and/or iTunes backup before trying." I wasn't directing it towards you, even though it reads that way. I think in general it's not a bad idea to do a iCloud/iTunes backup every few days just incase data gets corrupted, like the last update appearently did for some. That way you could always restore and restore most, if not all of your progress. I usually have my iCloud BU every night and do a backup thru iTunes at least once a week.

Does the Merchant Ship only offer you items you don't own?

    Thanks, I thought so.

I think I'm just at the point now where the merchant is offering me some of the same items every few visits. Unless you need a specific weapon or starting the game, you are definitely better off buying them from the merchant at a discount than from the store.

Also, while I like the Arena, I really wish that the 24 hour timer would start once you enter it, than when you exit it.

I think arena's fine. I've gotten about 1500 chips from there already LOL. And so much more from the Deathless mode where some regular enemies drop 100 chips after a battle, which doesnt include the extra goal chips yet.

I like the Arena, but ideally I would like to play it at lunch. Because the 24 hour clock starts at the end of the fights, I can't do it that way for more than about 2 or days.

I'm currently at L75 for both characters, at what point would you suggest trying deathless mode? Am gonna look into it a little more, but if I remember reading correctly you can only use the equipment you go in with and if you don't reach certain stages you lose those items? Any suggestions on how to play it?
