I had the same problem too. I deleted the game so I could do a fresh install for the update (was short on space to do the update so fresh install took up less space), had cloud sync enabled with my game before (even did the same before with previous update and had no issue) but this time around it found no cloud save and I to start all over again.
Such a shame. Apart from the actual loss of progress, IB games were my go-to temporary deletion candidate when I needed storage on the run, safe in the knowledge that I could redownload and resume from where I left off.
The worst is realizing you missed out on over. $600 of IAP to make up for save loss deletion. Here's hoping they run it again for New Years.
Is there any benefit to levelling up before using prize wheels, or are the possible prizes fixed and independent of level?
Where is the new content? I've played through the entire game twice -once with my 100-rebirth characters, and once with an entirely new set of characters and I still can't find any trace of the three new content areas: Drem's Maw, the Dark Citadel, and the Plains of Koroth. Where in the world are these things, and what do you have to do to unlock them?
Very helpful advice for someone who has just told us that he has played through the entire game twice I can only access the Plains of Koroth, but they are accessible from an Isa crossbow icon close to the Arena, a little bit down from and to the right of the center of the map. Have you completed a playthrough since the update? I didn't need to to access the plains, but perhaps it depends on at what stage you where at the time of the update.
Finally got the important components of a build i was gunning for, and i have to say, this may be the most broken build i've made so far, but im not sure how far this build will take me, as it revolves around the "On Get Hit, Get 10% Magic Charge" (i have made 4 of that, but i only needed 2 or 3) which means taking damage like a boss, and some bosses may still be able to OHKO you if they deal 250k damage in one hit which i doubt would happen untill maybe if the bosses are at level 20k or something. Weapon: Infiniy Blade (Siris) - 2x On Titan Break +2 gems, 1x 5CCC gem Infinity Blade (Isa) - 2x On Titan Break +2 gems, 1x On 5-hit combo, get 3k+ health gem Shield: Anything works - 2x On Titan Break +2 gems, 1x Elemental Defense +100% gem Helm: Any HP-Type Helm - 3x On Get Hit, Get 10% Magic Charge Armor: Any - 2x On Bonus Combo, Get 10% Super Charge Ring: Ring of Elements (Siris) - any gem works. I prefer an Atk+ gem Soulless Circle (Isa) - 3x Atk gems or 3x On Titan Break +2 gems coz her damage output is lower without 5CCC or Siris's Incinerate spell Notes: 1. Isa can go 5ccc on the weapon, and she can use On Magic, Gain X health Gem instead, but i dont have a high level one yet. Not even sure of the cap for it too so i cant say how effective the healing would be. 2. Isa will be more effective against bosses. A huge part of Siris's damage comes from Incinerate which is useless against bosses. 3. Blunt spell, Blunt spell, Blunt spell. Once you play that spell (which you should be able to at the start of a boss battle as you should have charged your magic in the previous battle), enemies only deal crap damage to you, and you can play that spell non-stop to either refresh the debuff, or more importantly, to cancel step back combos which could still kill you if you arent careful. 4. I only have Lv8 Blunt spell so far, and it's already doing wonders. 5. On Titan Break +3 gems are better of course, but i only have 2 of them so far, and +2 works fine and are pretty common. EDIT: Forgot to mention that a Lv5000 Terrovax in Deathless mode only dealt 900-4000 damage per hit which is still almost negligible with this build.
Finally was able to pick this one up, by far the best of the 3, the VA is just fantastic and the story so far is promising. It's a lot better optimized than IB2, IB2 got laggy in some places, not this one, no sir.
I added 2x On Get Hit, Get 10% Super Charge, and i just breezed through my second Deathless Mode playthrough. Was lucky to not meet any bosses with the Immune to Magic perk, so Blunt Lv15 was always active each fight. I used Siris's Heavy Infinity Cleaver with On Slash get 2500 health and it works just as good.
Yes, I downloaded the update on the 24th and played through it on the 28th. Wondering if you only get to the new areas if you start from the beginning, or have a particular item, or have already defeated the Worker, or some other condition that I haven't met yet but don't know about. Can someone explain to me the sequence in which the acts play out now that the new content is there? Maybe I'm doing the first three acts in the wrong order.
The first new area is the Planes of Koroth. It's an Interlude for Isa that should become available around Act 2 or 3. Completing it opens 1 more interlude for Isa and an Interlude for Siris.
The game is telling me that it cannot connect to the cloud and to try reopening the app. Not sure why it can't connect I have internet as I'm writing this on my iPad right now. First my progress gets lost in the interwebs now it's telling me it cannot connect to the cloud. C'mon Chair lets get it figured out please.
Still fairly new to the game and the multi stage Clash Mobs. Is it common that the first stage or two get defeated in an hour or two. Also for trials, if you get 3 stars, do you collect that stars award and the previous stars also.
I don't like the way they changed the gameplay. The first infinity blade had an amazing long story line that took me about 5 hours with me mastering all of the items. The second one was pretty good but not quite as good as the first. I don't really like the third one at all though. It's not really infinity blade, it should be a spin off of the series like infinity blade dungeons was gonna be. It's just like what mad finger did to dead trigger. They took the amazing free to play game, added a ton of waiting, made the shitty secondary currency NECESSARY, upped the price of all items, and made money harder to come by. In short, INFINITY BLADE THREE SUCKS LOADED SHORTS!
Yeah ok I have no idea what you're talking about. IB1 storyline is barely there, it's only until Sanderson's books that we get some decent plot going on (which they totally blew in IB3 with the ending). And IB2 is not as good as 1? You must be the first to say that. No wonder you find IB3 the worst. Chips suck though. Good thing I used to complete every XP Bonus Challenge in IB2, so very cool with Battle Challenges btw it seems ChAIR staff is on vacation and won't be back til Jan 2nd. Expect bug fix patch around the middle of the month.
